Second visit
Great looking entrance & clubhouse.
Lots of parking available.
Friendly, helpful pro shop staff.
Good size, putting practice green & bunker.
Long, enjoyable course layout, easy transition from greens to next tee box.
Signature holes for me - 2nd, 7th, 10th.
Rest house open, greens fair to good in parts.
Enjoying and only 10mins from home.
Great course in excellent condition.
This is a great course always in excellent condition with a variety of holes offering a good challenge to every golfer whatever their level. Superb value too. We will certainly be back to play here again soon!!
This course has some interesting holes
Played the course once before and tried on several occasions to return cancelled each time due to bad weather, it was nice to repeat the visit with good weather. All greens were quite slick and although there has been some work on fairways and around bunkers the course played well generally considering the kind winter weather we have had some fairways appear to need further attention. despite these comments the course is well worth a visit particularly at the price we paid.
2019 Tour
We have played Blankney many times and have never been let down, from the friendly Pro and bar staff to the excellent condition of the course at any time of the year.
Boxing Day golf
The pro was very welcoming, the course was in good condition and the greens where great.
Nice pleasant round
I wasn’t expecting too much after only paying £15 for a green fee but it was quite enjoyable one or two good holes and generally ok like most courses it’s still getting over our very hot and dry summer . Would I go back again yes
Blankney
As always, this course is a pleasure to play. Good steady walk with a few undulations, but not too strenous at all. As all courses have been affected by this years' hot weather so has Blankney. Plenty of bare patches and some damage to the greens, but they seem to working hard to get them back into shape. Greens still true and very tricky, needing some careful thought about line and speed. Very friendly pro shop and lovely bar/restaurant area. One of my very favourite venues.
Great overall
Very friendly team and helpful.
Course is well laid out and easy to follow.
Great deal through teeofftimes.
Keep out the rough!
Keep out the rough and you will have an enjoyable golf experience! Nice course, well maintained and greens that need respect. Would recommend.
Lovely course
Great condition parkland course, semi rough challenging.
Do not play in winter!
Having played this course a number of times throughout the year I decided to recommend to some friends, on the journey to Blankney I was telling them how good this golf course was etc we arrived and was informed that temp greens was in play, was disappointed but played anyway, well I wish I hadn’t bothered and saved my £20 green fee. The temp greens was shocking and some was the strangest layout I’ve ever played on (one was actually on the next hole tee box!) no yardage marker whatsoever. I can understand clubs wanting to protect the course but please don’t expect visitors to pay a full green fee or at least take a little time to prepare decent temp greens. I will visit again as it is a cracking track but never again in winter conditions.
Friendliest club I’ve been to
Sunday morning freezing cold wind blowing it’s going to be a bad day was my first thought as I got out of the car. But no got into the clubhouse nice and warm had a few words with graham club Manager and all round nice person as are the rest of the staff we’ve met so far. Had a hearty big breakfast which set us up for the rest of the day followed by a couple of frames of snooker (full size table ) then off to do what we went for play a bit of golf considering the weather we’ve had lately the course was amazing greens running very true but my word they are challenging but I love them at the same time. my mate decided not to bother with a putt on the 13th as he fluked a hole in one. We have been to Blankney twice now and can’t wait for spring to come round and play there again it’s a beautiful but challenging course with the friendliest clubhouse I’ve ever come across ( and that includes the members we’ve met too lol) so obviously in my opinion you need to get a round booked and enjoy ( just one more thing if you tend to hook or slice take a chainsaw with you) joking of course
5 star course

Good value
Testing course in good condition . Good value for this time of year.
Blankney golf club
Excellent course with great greens. Very few old pitch marks on the greens, which means the golfers there are looking after their course well. Good to see! Great value with ‘teetimes ‘, but would be also great at the normal green fee rate. Highly recommended.
Return to Blankney
Return after 18 months absence due to injury. Could not have picked a worse day / time, torrential rain but the course stood up well to the weather. In immaculate condition given the poor weather(heavy rain) this year although Lincolnshire has missed a lot of it. Fairways excellent following the chafer bug difficulties approximately two years ago. Greens fast even with the torrential rain during my round. Excellent club, staff and members ensure a welcome and the green staff have time for you. Graham the professional always on hand, although today, somebody's law, was at a county competition. Blankney is possibly the best course in the immediate area around the City of Lincoln, maybe the county. Recommend it.
Lovely course friendly people.
Just a few words about Blankney Golf Club. We were met with a charming pro Graham who introduced himself and made us welcome and chatted for a few minutes about a few things. The course was in excellent condition with fairways good first cut fair and second cut just right with being a penalty. The greens were fast and for a first time visit difficult to read but fair and in excellent condition. The catering and bar staff were really pleasant and the food good. This is a lovely place to play golf and I would recommend the course to anyone in the area. Visitors are welcome. Tony From Preston Lancs
