Beautiful parkland course

Beautiful layout which places a premium on accuracy from the Tee. Even though the course is not very long, there are strategically placed bunkers between the 260-280 yd mark and in many cases (like the Par 5), trees reach you quicker than you expect.

Pro and all members we met at the course were friendly and helpful.

In spite of a bit of rain on the same day, the course was in prime condition.

Beautiful course

Has high expectations from reviews and it met my expectations and exceeded them!

Beautiful weather helped, but course layout is great. I'm a high handicapper and it gives you enough of a chance to manage the course and come away with a good score. Greens tough but fun.

We'll certainly be back!

Great course - Shane about a 3 ball who thought it was acceptable to try and jump in front on 10

Great course great staff and all round lovely place

Shame a 3 ball of older gentleman thought it was acceptable to try and jump in front of us at the 10th. I’m not stupid and won’t accept them being members give them priority over guest who’ve paid good money

Pleasant course, stuffy atmosphere

Upon arrival we were told that we MUST use mats off fairway, or alternatively move ball to rough and play from there. Although this was annoying, I can appreciate that some clubs do request this during winter.

However, what I thought was ridiculous is that we were a 3 ball and yet they could only give us one mat to share between us!

Surely if you’re going to enforce mats, at least make sure you have enough for all players?!

Then to cap it off, during the round we were approached twice by members reminding us of the mat rule when we were in fact playing from the rough, which of course we’d been told was allowed!

A shame because it’s a nice course, but spoiled by the mat situation and jobsworth members

One of Cheshire's Finest

What a lovely surprise playing Bramhall, generally as a fair weather golfer I'd steer clear of the game but despite mid-winter conditions the course was in very great condition. Loved the layout and framing of the holes, beautiful club house and look forward to returning in the summer during peak condition.

Well kept, quality and interesting course

Well kept, quality and interesting course, can’t fault it so it’s great value for money for the quality of the course.

Pro was friendly and helpful, as were members.

Fairway mats were required for the winter rules.

Greens, fairways and rough were cut fairly short and pretty much in great condition, so given the wet conditions pretty impressive

Beautiful course - too posh for most people

Played on Bank Holiday Monday evening. Very strange atmosphere from the off. One member told us off for not shouting Fore loud enough. Later on in the round we were approached by another Member asking if we had paid, and if we could keep our carts away from the greens.

Course was in good condition on the fairways, greens rolled very well. Still some soft patches in the rough although it had made a lot of rain.

We are by no means hackers however I don’t feel most golfers would like the vibe around here. Not a very welcoming atmosphere so we didn’t bother calling into to the bar afterwards.
