Course was in great condition considering its winter. Some of the winter tees are in strange positions(not far from ladies tees). Not sure when they haven’t just used the ladies tees over the winter.

The clubhouse could do with a refurb. It looks scruffy,ripped seating,worn carpet and numerous light bulbs not working. I’ve played here three times over the last three weeks and the light bulbs have been like that from day one.

We decided to go to the Bulls Head around the corner to have a drink and bite to eat due to the non inviting feel of the clubhouse,shame really.

Lovely well kept golf course, back 9 is a little trickier than the front so be prepared but overall a very nice course.

Course wasn’t in good condition at all - was really looking forward to playing a prestigious course with my friend but was underwhelming! Also pace of play was unbearable we was contemplating leaving early.

Also big divot in one of the greens on the back nine.

Great course, first time playing, course wasn’t in the best condition due to the dry weather we’ve had recently. The 13th is particularly difficult but also love a challenge

The course was well maintained with lots of hazards. Greens are a little flatter than courses im used to.

Food afterwards in the clubhouse was fantastic

Considering recent weather in the area the course made a pleasant change from others nearby. Well drained and in surprisingly good Knick for the time of year.

Really nice course, played 2nd March, was expecting it to be little boggy but to my surprise it was bone dry, no winter tees or greens and fairways spot on, front 9 quite flat and open and there to be got at, back 9 different, trees everywhere, tough and tight, angles need creating off tees for second shots then trying to find the right clubs to up hill or downhill greens keeps you on your toes and is tricky, greens are nice, true and consistent, overall course is great, starter at first tee very helpful and golf wise spot on, just a heads up about the clubhouse, me and my brother ordered a ham and cheese panini, it comes with salad and chips, waited 50 minutes and it wasn’t busy, and came almost inedible, This message is to the chef, if your not happy in your job please find a different one, you are letting this company down and have no standards or passion, I promise, my little boy could have done a better job, me and my brother were laughing that my gums had bled on the panini it was that cremated, actually not funny though to many other people,we smootherd everything in mayo just to make it edible, the chips bone dry and way over done absolutely unacceptable that gets passed to leave a kitchen, and I promise you I’m far from fussy or faddy, I was saying on the way home I wish I’d have told 1 of the stafff, just to make them aware. As a business owner myself I would want to know, but the lad behind the bar was really young and I didn’t want to make him uncomfortable as he himself had done nothing wrong and served well. The bar area, seating, TVs, fixtures, fittings and ambiance are really nice, we were talking about bringing our wife’s, booking them in the spar while we play golf but such a simple meal done so badly we said it will just be us and golf in the future sorry. This is the first negative review I have ever made and over a ham and cheese panini sounds petty but it tells you how bad it was. Sorry again

Greens were very bobbly which I didn’t expect for a premium location/course. Could have been better as some of the holes were interesting otherwise.

Generous fairways balanced with treacherous rough!

Staff were very welcoming and the course was in very fair condition considering the weather, Some interesting holes with the back 9 more sloping. Will definitely be revisiting in warmer months.

We had never played the course previously and upon reading the reviews considering the weather recently it suggested we were not to be disappointed and boy that was the case. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the course conditions all things considered were excellent! Back 9 most definitely gets your thinking cap on and some very challenging holes indeed but will definitely be back! Cheers
