Brean Golf Club

Gives you good variety of scenery, lovely sections and additions around the course, hut at the start of hole 1, not much good for me but great for smokers or just to have 2mins before you tee off, also one at the end on hole 18. The bar area was lovely and staff in the clubhouse were helpful both times I visited, meaning it was so good I went back for more golfing torment in the wind the next day.

Challenge completely depends on weather conditions based on it being on the coast but all in great experience

First time playing and the pro shop was very friendly even let us out early as the course wasn't busy .

The course is a test for all golfers , lots of hazards and undulating greens makes it a course you need to plot around not just smash the driver . For the middle of December the course was in great condition. Although I didn't play well I will definitely go back

The course has been improved in quality.

Not long or complicated but I enjoyed this for a practice round.

Still more suited to improvers and high handicappers ( in my opinion ) but what do I know!

Excellent course in great condition, price was superb, staff are polite and welcoming I would highly recommend this course.

Enjoyed 18 holes with a pal, but daylight hours at a premium on this chilly overcast day.

Course not brilliant by any stretch but well managed and an enjoyable round. Tight in places and quite a bit of water often in ditches cutting square across the fairways. It's flat, easy in that respect but it's low-lying so I imagine it can be wet in winter months.

Worth a visit. The clubhouse is exceptional. Modern, warm and welcoming.

The pro was welcoming too, and had plenty of time to chat and advise.

Course is ideal for lower level golfers. Not so hard it penalises poor shots but it does make you think about every shot.

The course is quite new but new features are being added to make it more interesting.

Excellent course, staff and other players on the course were super friendly, course was in excellent condition, highly recommend.

First time there looking forward to playing it again

I booked two games Brean For a family event, Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The course was generally in good condition, Some of the rough was very punishing and a couple of the greens were a little bit difficult due to moss but on the whole very enjoyable.

I would recommend trying the course

Unfortunately when I arrived I was told that I could only play on holes 6 to 11 and that I had to keep my trolley on the adjacent paths. This was because the rest of the course was unplayable so it worth checking before making a booking.

I enjoyed playing the course because I am not a very good golfer so I was able to get some practice in at my own pace.

The course is fairly flat and straightforward although there are some water hazards and plenty of bunkers.

I enjoyed playing the course but a more experienced player might have found it frustrating.

Staff were helpful and the clubhouse is first rate.

Course in shocking condition. No difference between fairway and first cut. Greens very poor. A course I've enjoyed many times. Will not be coming back.

If length of course isn't an issue then this gem is perfect ..many short par 4 but pin placement will test your approach shots ...wind will play it's part too
