Great little course
Really interesting par 3 ,Greens are in excellent condition and can be difficult,,great value and nice pub for after
Stunning location.
Great little par three with wonderful views. Quite hilly with fairly long walks between tees. It's just a shame that some of the players are absolute idiots. The three lads in front of us were disgraceful. and shouldn't be allowed on a golf course. Throwing balls in the air and trying to hit them. Spraying golf ball all over the course. Dangerous
Chadwell Springs
Excellent course wonderful friendly staff and coach. Especially Danny!
Excellent Course and Value for Money!
Chadwell is an amazing place to play golf. Nine hole par 3, great for practice, almost the same price as using the range! Cannot complain. Greens are really well kept. The best par three around!
Pitch and Putt is perfect for beginners and young players.
Great place for a first round and those who are breaking in to or developing their half game.
Sunday Afternoon Visit
I have played Chadwell Springs many times over the last few years unfortunately a hike in price increase especially weekends has been noted
But shall continue to play there whenever is convenient .
Value for money
Great value for money and the course is looked after. I just wanted something quick and easy on a sunny sunday morning and this was perfect.
Great course in the summer. Avoid in the winter.
Fantastic course in the summer, much more varied and challenging than most 9hole courses.
Unfortunately the course cannot be recommended for winter rounds. Poor drainage together with almost freezing conditions made for one of the worst experiences I have encountered. Greens were temporarily moved onto the fairway, which was either water logged or frozen or unplayable. The fourth pin was driven into the ground without a hole, and I was charged full price.
I took a picture of the fourth pin for a future laugh, but this app prevents me from uploading it. Great course for the summer months.
Great Value For Money
I should start by saying that I used a Hot Deal on this day so I got to play for £7.99 instead of £11.99.
This is an amazing place to play. The course was in fantastic condition and provided a good challenge for me, a 15ish handicapper. There are great views over the valleys as you approach the end of the round, which I don't have at my home club.
The staff are really friendly and helpful. The woman who checked us in in the pro shop was happy to see us 15 minutes before our midday tee time. We were warned there might be a delay due to people running late but we only had to wait a few minutes for a 1 ball to play the 1st.
We ate at the King's Mead after the round. We ate outside under the shade of an umbrella. Again, the staff were helpful and friendly. We had to enquire about our food after half an hour (it was reasonably quiet then) but as soon as we did, it appeared. It's a McMullen pub, so the menu's the same as any other in the chain.
All in all, I enjoyed my time at Chadwell Springs and it certainly killed time whilst waiting for the car to pass its MOT.
Absolute cracker!
Lovely little short-course. A busy round and you can tell why as its a great place to play. Really nice little pro-shop staffed by a super nice guy. This place is a proper little gem and there's a family pub on site too - whats not to love! Can't wait to return.
Good course
The course was well maintained and the staff had a relaxed approach to golf, which was great. Very affordable and good value for the course - the greens are quite slow and they had a good variety of hole structure that made it a good challenge. The only point I was not aware of was that they do not offer to give you a scorecard and you have to ask to get one. As it was our first time, I was not aware of this caveat but sharing it here for future first timers
