The course Par and it’s length can be misleading. It is quite challenging and will test most armatures. Very enjoyable. Only thing that was slightly off was the abruptness of the reception staff, but hey ho. The game positiveness removed this slight err

play many courses around Stratford kidderminster etc and would and anyways do say this is up there with the best of them.

Probably the only club I would join as a member as I like to play different courses for the different challenges .

Todays visit was a reminder to visit in warmer months. All temporary greens, some placed in some really odd areas, and a lot of mud even by wet January standards.

Unfortunately the kitchen was also closed afterwards.

I like Bromsgrove and have played here many times so would score higher normally. I’m just reflecting on what I found on this particular visit.

Despite slow play until called through a great course with a friendly welcome greens excellent for time of year will be playing again

The course was jam-packed, which meant we had to miss out 3 holes. Needs a course Marshall, otherwise golfers will get fed-up and go elsewhere, which would be a shame, as it’s a nice course.

Pleasantly surprised to find this pay and play public course had an interesting layout , with some strong par 4s , especially on the back nine. Only one par 5 and 2 par 3s that follow each other, which is unusual, but worth £15 of anyone’s money. Probably worth avoiding in heavy winter, as pretty wet in early November, even after 7 dry days.

The course was in excellent condition for November except for the leaves which is an unavoidable consequence at this time of year

. The greens were superb. The only downside was a lot of the bunkers had a lot of water

Four ball played ,greens in great condition pace of play was good only down side being excessive amount of leaves on 1 st cut ,so any stay shots spent to much time looking for balls in leaves need a ground staff member daily just vacuum leaves up would imagine if really busy would be a lot of waiting due to this apart from this course was in good condition

Weather not the best and a bit slow on the front 9, but members happily let us play through, lovely strategic course and greens great for this time of year, 1st time playing after recommendation but will definitely be back again.

we play all round stratford south Birmingham etc every weekend.

I feel Bromsgrove is a match for every course our there .

good value for money great fairways and greens and friendly staff.

What more could you wish for ?

Nice course posted a few times , still an issue with slow play but overall worth a visit , would go back for sure
