Superb Links.

My second Visit to Bude GC. And it won.t be my last. A truly Challenging Links. A good selection of holes. Greens were exellent. Club house was Welcoming & the Pro was most helpful. Looking forward to a return visit.

Grassy knolls & dunes

At first glance it looks flat and featureless, however there are dangers blind holes hidden bunkers, tough undulating greens, a gentle putt can leave you yards past the hole. So my advice is, 'take care', respect the course, an old cliche but " think before you act" might be the difference between a good card and it being not so good.

Typical links course

Good course, reasonable length and difficulty. Good views of sea and greens quite good. Showers and locker room just ok.

Like most courses in Cornwall the signage is really poor particularly in between holes.

The clubhouse is average - nice Pro but the bar and eatery wasn't really great. They did offers on certain days - shame it wasn't on all days as I did want to eat after playing. The club probably lost about £80 from me. Bude - please please please concentrate more in this area if you want to attract golfers in to your bar and restaurant after playing.

Superb venue for weekend golf

Very friendly reception upon arrival with a well stocked pro shop. The course was in excellent condition and had drained dry well considering the heavy overnight rains. A good test of golf for the mid-handicapped golfer especially in breezy conditions.

Great links course

Really enjoyed this course. May not be the longest but lots of variety in approaches to the greens. Greens fast and undulating. Would definately play again. Difficult to say if good VFM as used a HOT DEAL and was offered one free round so only paid £14 for the two of us.

Only negative is the course layout - lots of cross over and side by side fairways. Ok when not busy but not sure how it would be if crowded
