A lovely 9 hole course.
Great for a quick 9. Shame vandals have attacked the greens on motorbikes but they are recovering.
Little Channels - Recommend
The course is billed as an intro for high handicappers and beginners. It is totally that but also punches well above its weight in terms of condition and value. Excellent 9 hole for any handicap; thoroughly recommend…
Ok course
Just a bit tight and the out of bounds was a bit close
Very expensive for 9 holes
Played here many times, not the most challenging course but always well maintained. £15 for 9 holes is very expensive for a small course.
Great place for a cheeky 9 holes.
It’s a relatively short course but there are plenty of challenges and it’s kept in great condition.
Course needs attention
The tee boxes all need cutting and the course is becoming over grown.
Good course for the money
Good course for the money from Golf Now. Busy on course and therefore fairly slow play but also enjoyed the course.
Excellent
Excellent condition , friendly staff, great bar and facilities
Nice little course, needs a bit of work
The course layout is fine and some of the holes are quite challenging. I had expected the course to be in better condition given its lack of use over the last year. I found some of the fairways to be quite patchy. The greens were however well maintained though their pace was variable. My main criticism of the course was the state of the tees. The grass on the tees was long in places and completely bald in others. There had been a lot of rain prior to my round and the tees were very wet and slippery making difficult to maintain a stable stance.
Overall it is good value for money and it would not take much to improve it significantly.
Pity about the course maintenance staff
I’ve played here a few times and have been frustrated at the green keepers cutting greens and fairways oblivious to the golfers needs. Wait in centre of fairway whilst green being cut, flag out without acknowledging golfers waiting to play.
