Good course layout, however the greens are very small and not very good condition, putting was more luck than anything, however enjoyed the difference in the course layout

Not played a 18 hole course for over year and my god this one took me by surprise mega long holes all up and down hill feeling like I have walked a marathon but for the experience absolutely amazing will definitely be going again

Not a bad course overall, the fairways are definitely improving but the greens are pretty unpredictable and have more than a few weeds. The layout keeps it interesting and fun to play. The tee boxes need flattening and probably a reseeding as soon as possible. The driving range is not really worth the money, the balls are like concrete and over priced for what you get.

Right, for the price you pay via this app, I would definitely recommend this course, it is good fun to play, generally speaking during the week, it’s easy to get on and the pace of play is pretty good . The design of the course… well you’ll definitely have fun with it.

Got there early but was allowed to go off straight away. Really friendly staff in the bar and course. Plenty of parking and a nice outdoor spot for coffee or a beer. The course is very hilly and many holes are a good challenge. Some of the longest par 4 holes I have played but very enjoyable. Only caught up one 2 ball and was allowed to play through without any trouble. Definitely worth another visit.

There’s no doubt that we need the rain for the courses but at the moment it’s absolutely ruining some. Unfortunately there were a few holes closed with temp greens but with the amount of rain we’ve had is no wonder. The signage to tell you what way to go could be improved as we hit a drive off a tee and ended up in a muddy fairway toward a green with no flag which was obviously closed. Some greens were literally bubbling with water under them so almost unplayable. When it all resides it’ll no doubt be a lovely course once again but until then I’ll give it a miss. Will defo be back though as played last year and it was pukka for the money.

Notleys is probably the best value 18 hole course in the area. Slope index is justified and particularly scenic.

Ground was frozen but that was to be expected . I had an amazing day playing with hardly a soul around. I visit most Sundays and it can be wet and bogey at times but it’s what you expect for this time of year!

After following the cancellation procedure outlined on their website I was initially told I could expect a refund within 3 days. Many weeks went by and I still hadn’t received my refund. I eventually got my money back but only by opening up a claim with the small claims court. I was called a liar multiple times and met with many rude phone conversations along the way. Nasty people and a poorly ran business. I recommend you look elsewhere.

Lovely course for all levels of golf. FANTASTIC VALUE and a picturesque setting with a river winding through many holes.

Driving range, chipping and putting greens

Let’s start with the positive points: £22 for a round of golf on Sunday afternoon is quite good and the course layout is interesting. Now the bad points: The tee boxes are terrible, completely worn out, the greens dreadful, weeds and worn patches everywhere, they’re also slow and untrue. Anyone who enjoys putting will be awfully disappointed!

The bridges are falling apart, matting on the bridges and on the cart paths is crumpled and is a serious trip hazard. The signage is poor and some have fallen down or be smashed.

Practice facilities are poor and so is the driving range.

Course maintenance issues are vast, the course is obviously run on a small budget.

This is a perfect lad’s day out course for non-serious golfers. Wear football shorts, a tee-shirt and trainers and have a blast!

A fantastic little golf course. It was overall well kept and good value for money.

Course is good value for what you’re paying so can’t complain too much. However greens and tee box’s are not in great condition but can’t really complain paying £17 for 18 holes

At £14 got what paid for. A lot harder than slope rating.

Single buggy at£22 not goood. Kept cutting out.

I played this course a year ago and thought it was good value for money. But clearly a year later it’s more a pun than a golf course.

Whilst I appreciate the summer has been extremely dry and all golf courses that don’t have watered fairways are bare. But the Tee boxes have no grass and the greens are just awful. The club have put in 3 new Padel courts to drive money. But no money have been invested in the course. The bridges are falling apart signage is awful and some have even fallen down. Some players wearing T shirts I understand you get what you pay for. But have some pride in what you own

Great value, on a par with other local courses but half the price. The greens have improved a lot through the year, fairways a little dry but totally understandable. A nice set up and a little hilly but that makes it different from other local courses. Staff were friendly, pace was a little slow(a two-ball) and a huge gap of empty holes in front of them developed without them letting us through(also a two-ball).
