5 star Course and Range
Great little 9hole course and driving range, with slick greens and well kept fairways. Nice little challenge for the average golfer. Pro’s also very helpful on the range, love the rugby post targets and lots to aim at.
Great Little course with excellent greens
Little Channels has become my course of choice for 9 holes around Herts and Essex. Good Tee Boxes, Weed Free fairways, favourably cut rough as we enter Autumn / Winter and the best Greens around in this price bracket. Far better than competitors at Rivenhall, Notleys and other more established 18 holes courses.
The course starts with an easy Par 3, but be careful, the down hill 100 yard shot catches many out and can destroy a round before it’s begun. Beyond that the course rewards risk takers but doesn’t overly penalise the beginners that find fairways.
9 holes here are better than 18 elsewhere
I've played little channels a few times the past few months and I am always impressed by the quality of the greens, which although can be fast or slow tend to be blemish free. The course can be challenging, particularity because the 4 par 3s make or break your round, but 2 of the par 4s are gettable for most mid to high handicappers. Would like to see the 18 hole layout available at some point but will be back for 9 soon.
Great local course
Played there 3 times now and really enjoy it - no Par 5s but plenty of challenging holes -a great way to prepare for the bigger courses - nicely laid back, good people and the course is in very good condition - nice views and a nice bar to enjoy a cold beer and a bite - have taken out flexi membership as I enjoy it so much
Good short course
Despite Prolonged recent period of dry, hot weather the course is in good condition when compared to other similar courses in the area. It has a good mix of difficulty, ideal for a beginner like me.
Great Short Course
No Par5's but it's still a really nice course with a few driveable holes.
Big surprise
1st time so not sure what to expect - very impressed with the condition of all the holes- greens in superb condition and really enjoyed the challenge -I’ll be back ASAP
No communication
Booked on tee off times, turned up to play and the club said we couldn’t play because they had double booked with a society day. Paid full price and only got to play a few holes. Not that hard to communicate. It’s 2019 after all.
Great 9 hole and friendly staff
Had a great time out at Channels and will definitely be back. Very convenient and course well maintained considering recent weather.
