Cherry Lodge Golf Club

The course was in great condition and general amemities were very good.

It was extremely windy when we played, which made things rather challenging. Notable were the acorns on several greens, but there is nothing other than 40mph winds to blame for this.

It's a beautiful, challenging course, which I feel I could improve on with more favourable conditions and the experience of having played once.

Staff and members were friendly and I can't wait to come back for another try.

Played on an early Friday afternoon and thought tees and greens were excellent and although fairways were a bit bald it’s hardly surprising due to the lack of rain in the last 3 months.Took 4 1/4 hours(for a 3 ball) so not too bad and clubhouse is very welcoming with a lovely balcony overlooking the 18th green.

We had a 4 ball and all four commented on the condition of the course, greens fast and true and none flat so tested us all.

Great little club with a huge emphasis on the course and friendly staff, would definitely play again, some really challenging holes and fast greens!

Course is absolutely pure, definitely a must play in the area.

Tee times are hard to come by but much better value now the autumn prices are coming.

Greens were lightning quick especially the 16th was a very very difficult time.

But such a good course and a lot of fun

Absolutely beautiful, course played extremely well in good condition, played that well even considering becoming a member.

The course is so busy even on a Wednesday afternoon albeit a nice warm one. We gave up on the 9th hole having spend 2.5 hours on the front 9. We did ask whether we could start from the 9th but couldn't due to competition. I will never bother with Cherry Lodge again and would only recommend if you like a slow game or only playing in the rain!

Played This course a few times now and it really is a lovely course.Tees,fairways and greens all in very good condition and the only criticism was it took 4 1/4 hours for a 2 ball but then it was a Friday afternoon.Would definitely play again👍

Played here on a Friday afternoon and course was quiet.Tees,fairways and greens all excellent.Only thing that lets the course diwn is the bunkers have a lack of sand and too many stones in them.Other than that lovely course and will play again.

Need drainage at the courseIt was terrible won’t be going back!!!

Lovely course but the pace of play of the sindicate in front of us meant that our last two holes were played after the sun went down in twilight. One guy behind us walked off on the 8th and the 2 ball in front walked off on the 16th.
