Park Wood Golf Club

18 holes took over 5 hours as a pair. A lot of waiting around everywhere. Patrons in tracksuits. Very argumentative. Course was fine but I don't recommend playing here on weekends.

Have played this course a few times now. It doesnt disappoint. Friendly staff and a good club house.

The course plays longer than you think and the holes can be harder than you think which makes a great challenge. They're constantly working on the upkeep with new tee box steps and marker signs recently installed.

Greens are well kept. Fairways have recovered well after the drought this year.

Course was relatively empty on a Sunday afternoon in September so pace of play was good, tee boxes in excellent condition and greens seemed to be recovering well from some maintenance.

Shocking experience today!! Course is just being hammered, classic example of let's take as much money as possible and cram as many golfers on it as they can!!

Walked off after getting to the second tee, that’s how appalling it was, stacked behind 2 4 balls and then a 2 ball, tee time was 10:49 and I finished the first hole at 11:23 walked to the second tee where a 4 ball and 2 ball were waiting to tee off so i decided I wanted to get home at some point on the same day!

Requested a refund as I wasn’t willing to play a 9 hour round of golf and was told they couldn’t give me my money back but offered me a courtesy round to which I obviously said no thanks, in what world would I want to come back to play a course where it’s essentially half hour a hole, can gladly say I will never be back.

To anyone thinking of using this course, take your money elsewhere because the customer service was shocking and they clearly aren’t bothered about golf, only interested in the money.

Allowed a five ball in front, slow play after that and ruined round. Course was good considering weather

Love this course, good layout great clubhouse food and drink good tees and great helpful staff

I had been really looking forward to our round having read some of the reviews and I was not disappointed, it’s a lovely course with tree lined fairways and beautiful holes. We got a fantastic deal through golf now and although it was a bit further than we would normally go it was so well worth the drive and we will go back!!

Obviously we have had such a dry summer and the course is a bit dry but it did not detract from the course.

If you play here midweek it’s worth a visit but have heard it gets really busy at weekends.

Overall we loved the course!

Lots of bounces into the trees.

Fairways have occasional bald areas so winter rules would have been fairer.

Just two golfers behind us.. no-one within 4vjoles in front.

Will play somewhere again next time england playing if k.o.time is suitable.

Played on the hottest day of the year, but still enjoyed the round,Greens were in fantastic condition after all the hot weather we've had. Staff waited until we Finnish our round so we could have a drink. Will definitely go back when the weather not so hot

Club house and outside terrace are very good

Long well looked fairways, greens and tee box’s very good

I would say the lack of green protection by bunkers seems odd and the one there asr no threat

So other than bunkers it’s a great course great views

Nice course layout with a lot of choices to hit safe shots off the tee or take riskier lines with driver. Wide fairways with good grass coverage. Greens were fairly slow but ran true. Would definitely play again

Pleasantly surprised. Good layout and course in great condition. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Pace of play was good for a weekday round, fairways and greens look fantastic, greens were spongy, so plays a bit slow. Overall, I will always recommend Park Wood
