About
Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

I live to play this course with my son as it is one of our favorite courses.

As basic as it gets
This course is about as basic as it gets. There is nothing wrong with it, the staff, or the off-course amenities, but there certainly isn't anything special about it either. I don't think I'll be wasting my time playing this course again unless every other course in town is booked. And, don't forget, this place is basically in Hutto!

Our favorite course
Forrest creek is my son's and my favorite course, all the staff is really friendly and the marshalls are always friendly and make sure that there is a good pace of play..
Even with a little construction and a broken water pipe it was great to play.

Great Gem in Round Rock
Good condition. Fun layout. Nice carts with GPS and Bluetooth built in. Staff has been nicer than average enough times for me to take a real notice. Reasonable drink prices and green fees. This is the best value in the area imho.

Friendly staff
Staff are very friendly, weather was a wash when we played. The staff made us feel so welcome, hospitality was great. We had a couple of beginners in the group, and the Marshall was very nice about it. Course layout is a bit odd, some tee boxes are aligned to homes, need to be cautious. Overall, would come back.

Frost delay
We started with a frost delay but the staff worked with the groups to get everyone off as quickly as possible when the all clear came through. Friendly staff and great course, would highly recommend.
