Forest Creek Golf Club

I have played there before and always enjoyed it. This time it was a bad experience. Car path only, the course was muddy, very wet, some running water and there were times you couldn't get to your ball. I lost three balls I couldn't get to. There should have been a warning before I made t-times about the condition. I will go back, I like the place, " it was just one of those things"

Friendly staff . Course empty except for foursome in front of us that had to have picked up our ball on #11 which has a blind landing area . Stuck behind them entire back nine . Ruined an otherwise nice golf day . Many interesting shots, choices .

I love this course. It is narrow and challenging. For a $15 hot deal you can't beat it. I use to live on the course so I have a personal connection with the course. Will definitely play again.

Enjoyed approach to greens. A fun course would be challenging for a beginner.

Havn't been here in about 12 years. Has matured nicely. Greens and fairways were very nice. Can't wait to play again.

Course was in great shape. They seem to be undergoing new management or changing owners since service was not up to standard in the pro shop.

Course is in great condition. I just got back from Napa and this course is much better than one that cost me $200.00 to play.

Even though fairways were being worked on the course was in excellent shape. The addition of gps on the carts was a fantastic addition.

Cousre was great shape. We were behind a four some that played from the tips that had no business from there. Staff did warn us.

Played this course for the first time with a friend on a Tuesday (8/19/14) @ 9:45am. We felt like we were the only ones on the course (possibly were) so pace of play was great. Course was in great condition overall. Only complaints were they sanded the greens that morning, so they were a bit tricky and the sand traps were very hard. Course really made me think about my play and club choice, appreciated that.

Would love to come back and play again.

Played here for the first time. Conditions were great for a hot summer day. Greens were pretty quick but rolled true. Fairways were nicely mown and the rough wasn't terrible at all. Only problem was the pace of play. Had a threesome a couple groups ahead that took a little while, and the twosome ahead of my group stood over every shot like it was to clinch a major. I don't mind taking the time to enjoy the course so long as it doesn't hinder pace for others.

I'd definitely play here again! This is definitely one of the better public courses in the area!

Great conditions but I would avoid Saturday mornings. Teed off about 15 minutes late and had to wait on every shot. The round took over 5 1/2 hours.

Played Forest Creek on 8/2/14. We got a great discount on Golfnow for a Saturday afternoon round. I was pleasantly surprised. The course was really in great shape. As good as i've ever seen it. Fairways and greens were all in good shape. The course is pretty tough. It's very much a target course while only needing driver on a few holes. Looking forward to playing again soon.

Forest Creek is a challenging but fun course and is always in good condition. Even in the middle of the summer in TX, when many courses are struggling to keep their greens, Forest Creek is great. The fairways and greens were great. The only criticism is that there is not much sand in the bunkers which makes recovery tough (simple solution... Don't hit it into the bunker). Forest Creek is one of my favorite courses in the area. I highly recommend it.

Well maintained. Very nice fairways. Excellent greens. They roll true. Practice area well laid out. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful .

This course was in very good to excellent condition. It was our first time to play there and some local knowledge would help with the layout. There are some blind shots, doglegs and hidden trouble if you do not know the layout. We will play there again for sure it is a great value.

It has been several years since I played Forrest Creek. Last time I played, the course wasn't in great shape. It was ok, just not great. After playing yesterday, I rank it as one of my favorites in the Round Rock. From Tee to Green, the course was lush and beautiful. I hope you like trees, because this course has a lot of them. It isn't very forgiving if you miss-hit to the right or left. It definitely will bring new meaning to the term "Fairways and Greens". It's not impossible, though. I may play a few times a year, and I still shot less than 100.

Overall, this was an awesome course.

The course is in great shape heading into the Central Texas Amateur at the end of June. Great value for the money.

Forest Creek was a fun course in great shape. Played on a Friday afternoon and yet it was not crowded - was able to play at our pace. The course had several hard bending dog legs. Fairways are wide enough but when the ball was is the rough it was difficult to hit - thick & deep bermuda (guess that's what a rough is suppose to be like).
It's a good course, but there are a few others in Austin that I enjoy more.

As i found the golf corse in good shape and fun to play i was taken back by the desire to rush the players on the tees so fast that it couses a backup so the day was not as enjoyable as it could have been. They must remamber we are only ametures!
