About
Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Several interesting holes
ovearall a good value for the money, especially for a moderately high handicap golfer.
Great hilly course
This course is a very hilly course with almost no flat hole. Not only you're always hitting up or down hill but fairways almost always slope away to creek. You must be a very accurate player to play there without losing a ball.Lots of dogleg left or right where you should try to work the ball on either side. well maintained course and very friendly staff and very well priced too. Much more interesting than other higher priced courses as grey rock, Tera vista.
Narrow Course with lots of trees - a good challenge
I played this course on a monday afternoon and sped through with one other player. I am a fairly novice golfer so found the tight fairways and change in slope to be pretty difficult. That being said, it did force me to be more thoughtful with my shots ( including putting away my driver on several par 4's and 5's ) . The course was in great shape minus a few greens that could use work. I enjoyed the day thoroughly and wish I would have kept more in play. Shot in the low 90's because the woods ate alot of my balls, but thats how life goes for a beginner sometimes! Good course would play again with friends of my own skill level.

the clubhouse should remind players to sand thier divots and repair the divots on the greens.
Forest Creek in good shape
Course was in really good shape when I played this past Sunday (10/28). They also have a great practice area, including a range, putting green and extra practice green where you can hit long (up to 70-80 yard) pitch shots. A good value for $50-60; a great value for $40-50. Well done Forest Creek !
Overall good experience
The course itself was nice, but I'd like to see the facilities, golf carts, and other amenities be upgraded.
The greens are really really slow.
The slow greens detract from the course conditioning which otherwise is very good.
Great course
It's a popular course for a reason. Having just got back into golf after a long layoff it really challenged me. Still a load of fun.

VERY NICE AND VERY TOUGH COURSE YOU BETTER HIT IT STRAIGHT OR YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING.
GREENS ARE QUICK BUT FAIR AND THE ROUND ONLY TOOK ABOUT 4HRS
