Cleethorpes Golf Club

One of the friendliest courses I’ve ever played greens fantastic.Would recommend it to any one who hasn’t played it to try it you won’t be disappointed.

We enjoyed our second visit to Cleethorpes. Again we found the pro really helpful and friendly.We will play there again during our next visit.

Absolutely loved the round of golf my dad and I had.. every year while on holiday we take our clubs and look for a standout course via peoples feedback.. and decided to play cleethorpes and it didn't disappoint.. course and staff were unbelievable..

It’s in the best condition I’ve ever seen it, greens and fairways were superb.

Long grass is still a pain for losing golf balls

The only thing that was not good is some bunkers were rock hard below an inch of sand

Course in excellent condition, and the greens ran true. Made all the better by a nice pint and fish n chips to follow.

Had it not been for very poor weather conditions this would have been a really enjoyable course to play. The fairways were lush. Greens well tended and the course layout suitably challenging. Unfortunately heavy rain and wind made for a tough day but we would definitely hope to return when the sun is shining! A lovely course at a very reasonable price.

Having checked out the course online we expected the wind to be an issue and the forecast rain also gave us a bit of a worry. However the wind was manageable and it didn't rain for very long. The course itself was not too daunting for our group who are all 20+ handicappers. An interesting layout although a couple of times we didn't know which way to go particularly on one dogleg left on the back nine. We couldn't see the green and there is nothing to indicate the layout of the hole. Once you know your way around that is not going to be an issue. We all enjoyed our round and would certainly visit again. The pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful and the course was extremely good value.
