Straight in to pro club to pay, was very polite (think was the pro of the course)

Good laugh

Course was in great condition , fellow golfers were polite and even offering advice at the half way house

Challenging course with good greens and fairways

Course in good nick second time visiting the course greens were in great condition lovely fish and chips after the round 👍👍👍

Absolutely fabulous condition. Greens are the best in the area. Highly recommend playing, and £20 for 18 holes what a barfain

I haven't played this course for over 8 years and it was a pleasure to play it again

We booked this course on a daily deal, not knowing what to expect. But upon seeing the course when entering the pro shop it was clear that we wouldn’t regret it. The course was immaculately well kept, with staff and members all very friendly and welcoming. We had a pretty much empty course for the front 9 before catching up with a ladies medal competition on the 11th hole. The pace of play for a four ball was very quick and we were only really waiting a few minutes each tee (we were a 2 ball). Green keepers were working cutting the rough on parts of the course but were very aware to allow us to tee off and unobtrusive to play. Would definitely play again!

Im new to golf and was made to feel very welcome at Cleethorpes. Members were nice and the pro shop staff very helpful. Course was amazingly well kept, easy to navigate but still tough! Saw lots of wildlife on a hot sunny mayday. Will definitely be back again !

What a lovely club, very inviting and welcoming. I played on a ladies day but no problems with speed of play. The course is in great condition and the greens are very consistent in speed and roll (brilliant for this time of year)

There were lots of greens staff out on the course which is great to see and they were very respectful when in close range to me playing (thank you to them all)

Course was fine, weather was good and amenities and staff were all good. The only downside for us was the downright hostility from the women members, including the self proclaimed ladies president who thought they could barge straight in front of us because they were in a comp. They demanded we didn’t hold them up but it wasn’t a problem because they were all totally useless anyway.

My first time playing 18 holes. Staff was friendly and course was amazing. I did have some playing behind me quick but I let them passed with no drama. Saw lots of local wildlife which isn't surprising considering course is so immaculate ! Can't wait to play again!

Nice course - very open.

Had been a very wet few days but Cleethorpes was still open. Some standing water still in greens and in bunkers.

Teed off at 4pm though and virtually had the course to ourselves

Great course good value with friendly staff. only issue we had as first it was time we had played some holes not obvious what the layout was so a overview of the holes on the scorecard would of helped.

Upon arrival , the staff in the pro shop was superb. Very welcoming.

Whilst we was waiting for our tee off time a few comments from members and volunteers saying you picked the wrong day guys as its maintenance week and turned there noses up at us once they found out we was not members. Not very welcoming at all if im being honest and if this is how your members and volunteers are then it doesn't give a good impression for visitors or for potential member who are deciding whether or not to join cleethorpes golf club. Some holes we had to play on temporary greens which was basically the fairway. Not a massive problem but again was not told this. We enjoy playing courses for the green experience as well as the different challenges the course offers. All in all it wasn't a terrible day as the golf course itself is in great shape.

A friendly and professional welcome in the Pro's shop. A very tidy and challenging course with the greens amongst the best we have ever played. A credit to the greens staff.
