Laceby Manor Golf Club

It Really is a Superb Golf Course and not that easy the Course was in Immaculate Condition and a Pleasure to Play.

Fairways a little wary after a harsh wet winter but they grew staff have done very well. The course is very well laid out and presented. One of the nicest courses in northern Lincolnshire.

Thoroughly enjoyed our round yesterday, good conditions and the course was in good nick too.

The course was in good condition for the time of year and the greens were exelant.

Booked an 11.20am tee time and was joined by another 3 ball. It's a very nice set up with the lodges and spa area. Course was dry and in condition, greens ran well and were a good pace. The course is very flat and uses the streams around the course to cut through fairways.

Many of the holes are tree lined so accuracy off the tee is needed at times.

No winter tees and full greens in play. Tees are a bit rough and ready and patchy in places. However, they are very well constructed and many are slightly elevated.

Had trouble finding the pro shop, maybe needs better signage.

Overall a good experience and will play again.

First time to the course after driving past on many an occasion. We were greeted by a groundsman cleaning the approach road, a good sign of the care they take at this nice facil

ity. The polite, helpful and seemingly very knowledgeable young man at the pro shop certainly will encourage us to return. The course, although very soft was still enjoyable and greens in fair condition for the time of year. Will definitely return and play whenever I've the opportunity to do so.

The tee boxes require urgent attention, all are uneven and large areas bald

Some tricky holes and the mixture is great.

I’ve played this course several times over the years and sadly this is the worst condition I’ve seen it. From the 1st tee box it set the standard,the tee boxes are very poor lots of big divots and little grass and at times struggled to get an even stance. The fairways were in bad condition especially on the front 9, I understand we’ve had dry weather this summer but it appears they haven’t even attempted to water or look after them.

Lots of bald/dry baked mud areas around the greens and on greens too. The bunkers have little sand in them and myself and playing partner both hit the bunker lining on shots which resulted in poor shots.

Very sad to see and disappointing.

I or my playing partners won’t be rushing back any time soon

Good value at £23.Some greens were a bit bumpy,Definatly have to make some tactical lay up decisions off the tee or a well placed drain will catch a decent hit with the driver.

Enjoyed my round,Birdies on 10 and 11 helped the mood greatly.

Managed to book a lightning deal at £17.99 , unfortunately the weather conditions on this day was poor and very windy .

We also had to contend with 5 x greens being spiked . For the price though I thought this was acceptable . To say the course is tree lined the grounds keepers did a good job of clearing the fairways of leaves .

Would I come again , yes I would , I would have liked to get a coffee before we tee off Bar area closed but open to walk in . Other clubs have self service coffee machines paid by card , May be an idea going forward .

Lovely golf course some really nice holes. Greens are up there with the best really fast

This is the 3rd time i have played at Laceby the course was in fantastic condition the greens immaculate but really quick, it's not an easy course to play the hazards will bite you, it's a good test of your golf game thoroughly enjoyed it.

Was very disappointed after the first six holes, short par 4's with very little to challenge the low handicap golfer. However the course opens up nicely thereafter. Lovely.challenging holes between 7 and 15...a disappointing end with three par threes over the last few holes.

If this course was 14 holes it would be perfect, excellent greens and very good value for money, unfortunately the dull start and finish spoils it somewhat imho.
