Greens in very good condition. Some holes a bit same-y but overall excellent value for money. Highly recommend
Challenging but enjoyable
A tough course that I can only assume looks and plays completely different in the summer months.
A lot of tree lined fairways that leave you with little choice but to play out sideways. Greens were in amazing condition considering we played mid-February (in short sleeves I may add).
You need to hit the ball straight here otherwise you could be in for a high score.
Excellent Day Out
Had an excellent day out the layout of the course is excellent staff were ever so friendly and helpful just a shame with the current weather conditions the course was very muddy in places and the fairway grass needed a cut as it was a bit on the long side the greens were excellent the odd one was a little bit water sodden but again with the current weather that needs to be taken into account. I have played the course in the summer and it was a delight.

Considering the lack of any rain for ages the course was in very good condition and well worth the money.
Had a 09.08 Tee time and didn’t see any people at all ahead of us so went round in very good time.
Special mention for the greens which were in excellent condition and well watered and receptive.
Overall would recommend this course for the money was great value

Considering the amount of rain we’ve had recently the course was in very playable condition although there were some muddy/wet areas but the greens were in great condition I will definitely play here again and staff were very friendly.

Shocking fairways
A nice setting and good greens but the terrain of all the fairways are like speed bumps.

Monday Golf at Crews Hill

I was playing alone and went out with a member who was very friendly and welcoming.
What a lovely experience
Booked a Hot Deal here for £15+£1 on a Thursday morning @ 8.16. Tees are well maintained. Fairways are firm and rolly-polly, which adds to the excitement and means no two tee shots are likely to rest in the same place. Bunkers were being hand raked at 8am by a team of young green-keepers. Bunker condition was mostly very good, and I guess after the green-keepers had got to them, excellent. Greens were very true and fairly fast even though we played early morning. Holes were clean cut. Club house & balcony were perfect for a 19th hole rest & drink while looking over the golf course from the 1st floor. All in all, I will be back and highly recommend this course. Oh, and the patrons are exceptionally friendly! If I lived closer, I'd join in a heartbeat.

Great value for money round of golf
I'd heard that Crews Hill was a nice course but hadn't played before as it can be a good 50 minute drive from my house (depending on traffic). We decided to give it a go as there was a Bank Holiday 'hot deal'.
I'm so glad we did. This is a really well designed course kept in lovely condition. A number of the holes take some thought to play and the back 9 in particular makes good use of a brook running through the land.
Some of the fairways are a bit generous in width, but that helps keep the ball in play! Greens were in excellent condition.
The clubhouse is modern with good facilities. As it was a nice day we had lunch on the raised terrace that overlooks the first tee and 18th green. Very pleasant.
Overall, a highly recommended course.
