Delapre Golf Club - Oaks Course

The greens on holes 9 & 10 need some repair work.

Overall a challenging but good course, great staff who were friendly & attentive.

The bar/restaurant serves reasonably priced food, nice little putting green right next to it.

Nice place to bring the kids to driving range & a bite to eat

Well set out with minimal walking between holes. Greens a bit patchy. No course maps in clubhouse or on each tee, and just a 150yd marker. This made judging shots a bit of a lottery and twice I hit it into a ditch I didn't know was there!

I like it, playing off the winter mats is great in the bad weather, drainage is good, greens are in good condition, except very slope deceiving, only thing I’d like to see is the rough cut a bit shorter

Great afternoon spent and very enjoyable. There have been some repairs to the greens which still need work and the grass was a little too long for my liking on the fairways but generally góod.

Very good course with a couple of greens under repair. Good COVID measures and very good staff. Great to have a drink and food buggy going around the course. Excellent value for money.

I know you get what you pay for, but even a £17 golf now deal is too much given the greens here ( with maybe 3-4 exceptions.

Mud, tractor marks, deep grooves and the 9th has a rockery in the middle.

Dreadful

It was brilliant to see how much improved the facilities at Delapre are. It is clear how much time, effort and money has been spent on the improvements and we will definitely return.

One comment but not a total negative - some of the greens were in particularly bad condition, and given the length of closure due to lockdown, we felt these could have been much better.

Overall a really good afternoon and we will be back.

The nice weather & guys I joined up with may also be a factor, however l found the course very pleasurable to play. Well maintained, not too many features or real signature holes in my opinion just an all round good course.

Most of the course was in superb condition but a few greens were bad. The rough just off the fairway needs to be a bit shorter as it was hard to find your ball. On one hole while looking for mine I found 4 balls that shouldn’t have been lost . Overall very enjoyable.

Great course, boggy in parts due to the rain. Great parking, great staff and friendly players everywhere.
