Greens and fairways in great Condition.
On a very windy day this course poses a real challenge. The greens and the fairways are all in excellent condition this is a true test of golf that I can recommend to anybody.
Tough test
Excellent challenging physical demanding course excellent greens we kept course

Amazing course
Simply stunning, lovely old course, free draining and firm. Great greens and breath taking views and arguably the best half way hut in all of golf
Great in winter!
It has been wet, very wet. The courses across Sussex are waterlogged. Not so Easy Brighton. All greens in use. No temporary tees. It was busy but worth an extra 3/4 hour getting round just to play in such good conditions.
great course in Winter
Played this course in January weather was good but everywhere else was wet ,dry underfoot, good lenght holes and greens in very good condition.
Welcoming was top class so was friendlyness of members and staff
Our only observation was if you play it for your first time
it can be a bit confusing wear the next hole is but only a small issue maybe better signage or map on scorecard
We will definatly play a again and recomend to others

November Sunday 2 ball
Easy to find (car park is a bit snug).
Wasn't windy which was a bonus and the course played fantastically well. Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in great nick. Greens were lightning fast so be prepared to get your best short game out.
So many challenging holes and glorious views.
It's at times an odd layout where holes are very close together and criss cross one another, but this adds to its enjoyment.
A halfway hut with plenty of hot foot and drink options you can order on the 9th tee.
Lots of hazardous o.b and a real challenge for any golfer.
Highlight was the fascinating ww2 bomb craters that come into play as huge dells on several holes.
Lovely pint of Brixton IPA afterwards with sky sports on the bar.
Couldn't really complain
Great course, dry where everywhere else is wet.
Really fun and challenging course. Especially with wind off the sea. Some delightful holes and then some that just seem fit in. Staff very friendly, but no beers available at half way hut. Overall a nice challenge and great place to play when everywhere else is wet.
Slow play but great day
4hours and 45minutes to play a round of golf is a little too long for me, especially as a 2 ball, however the weather was beautiful, the course in good shape and the views simply stunning. As with the pace of play, the greens could do with a bit of a hurry up too, had to give the ball quite a rap to reach the hole…
All in all though a very enjoyable day out, oh and the 19th serve a close to perfect ping of Harvey’s
Breezy Day
A round here on a windy day makes the course challenging whilst helping on some fairly lengthy holes on the back nine. Judging the wind is essential.
Greens in very good condition and the fairways lush after all the rain.
Pro very friendly as always and the lady behind the bar ultra efficient.
Over all a very good experience. We will be back!!!
Very testing when the wind picks up
Love this course as it plays in 3 different way; offshore or onshore wi d or still.. When the wind blows its a game of 2 9-holes. Easy when no wind.
