We will be back
Really enjoyed playing Elfordleigh for the first time.
It's hilly, narrow in places and has challenging sloping tiered greens.
Elf casual round
Had been a member of this club for a few years however decided for a change this year for various reasons. Went back to Elfordleigh for a round and it was pleasant, although the greens are not in the best condition compared to other courses we have played and the bunker sand isn’t great. Other than that the course played well and is always picturesque on a nice day
Excellent for time of year
Went on a mild January’s afternoon and wasn’t disappointed. For the time of year, the course was in excellent condition with true greens. We played pick and place because inevitably you’ll get some horrible lies at any course this time of year but in general wonderfully kept in a lovely setting and really good value for money. Recommend to anyone in the area. Pro shop service excellent, food and service in bar acceptable
Wet
Very wet, the greens were flooded but the rain was horrendous. Great course layout, let’s you open your shoulders, some tricky par 3’s. Good overall course to play.
Excellent course
Course in great condition, very hilly and tiring on a hot day. Excellent value for money.
Nice course in beautiful setting
Lovely location and very picturesque. Quite hilly so recommend a buggy plus quite tight in places so you need to be accurate off the tee.
Excellent value and food/drink was equally good value and quality. If you want a pleasant round in a lovely setting I recommend.
Oh what a lovely course!
With stunning views, some challenging holes with elevated greens, plenty of dog legs and many water features this well maintained and beautifully presented course is one of the nicest we’ve played on and such good value for money.
First round
Lovely weather and the course was in good shape.Very frustrating when the 4 ball two groups in front would not let the 2 balls play through .
Best value course I have ever played
This course was in great condition, with well kept fairways, greens and surroundings throughout. It provides a number of varying holes, some interesting dog legs and some fantastic views over the round. It feels very well designed with beautiful stone walls throughout. Would definitely recommend.
Very we’ll kept.
Great course, lived in Plymouth for 10 years, first time playing there. Will definitely play again
