Epping Golf Club

Course was in good condition after a lot of rain and played well. Couple of slightly boggy patches here and there but shouldn't affect your game too much. A few winter tees on display but they also played well - it's nice to be able to put a tee into a winter tee!!!

Nice golf course. We were a 4 ball. Following 2 ball and a 2 ball in front of them. Very slow we had to wait on every tee box. Recommended that when booking ask are you a two ball and put them with another two ball it will help speed of play.

Course was very wet - not surprising after all the rain. Course staff working hard to improve the greens

What a friendly quirky little course.

Lovely reception. Great layout with shared tees and lots of elevation change. Quite hilly.

I think we had a society in front so we were held up all day but not terrible. Superb green and good tees. I will be back soon.

Not a long course but still tricky. Interesting holes to play and the greens are as good as you are likely to play. Worth every penny. Enjoy the views when at the top of the hill.

I've had three rounds at Epping now and it has been great every time... The course is beautifully maintained, the greens run true - its a great value for money round! Definitely recommend

Der Platz war trotz der Trockenheit noch in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Grüns sind, wie viele schreiben sehr gut, mit vielen, oft nicht unmittelbar ersichtlichen Breaks. Das Layout ist sehr abwechslungsreich mit einigen blinden Löchern. Manche Löcher haben Hanglage, so dass Bälle bei dem trockenen Boden schnell vom Fairway laufen. Trotzdem ist der Platz nicht unfair und obwohl er kurz ist, bieten einige Löcher eine gute Gelegenheit auch den Driver zu nutzen. Von den bislang in der Gegend gespielten Plätzen (Wanstead, Theydon Bois und Stapleford Abbots) war dieser Platz im besten Zustand und hat uns am besten gefallen.

Enjoyed Epping today, greens were fantastic, fairways were great considering no rain for a while

First time playing this course and well worth the price. Would probably suit the older golfers as it’s a little shorter than most but was well maintained. Greens were excellent and a little slick and the staff were very friendly. If you’ve never played here it’s worth giving it a go.

Course is hilly but enjoyed the contours of course because of that only downfall is not very well sign posted so ended up doing one hole twice !!
