Interesting course, thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
Very nice condition course and some challenging holes, especially the par 3’s.
Excellent condition and friendly staff
First time going there. The location is pretty secluded so make sure you follow the signages. Staff at reception were friendly and bumped with few members who were also welcoming us. Good suggestion by them to take the buggy for first timers. The first nine is very hillly which helps with buggy, back nine is quite flat. Fairways and greens were in a good condition and well maintained including the bunkers. We were lucky playing in Saturday afternoon with not many people and had the course to ourselves. Definitely will come again!
Eddy review
Great course. Good layout. Looking forward to playing again in the summer.
worth playing
tricky enough course with some unusual holes good greens and facilities food and staff very good would play it again
Lovely condition greens and fairways in a hilly location
Greens are fabulous and the fairways are nearly as good, if you are not used to hilly courses where the ball will often by above or below your feet this will add an extra level of difficulty. A couple of holes that are directly in front of the club house are scary (how many broken windows do they get ?) Overall good value for money, and one of the best courses in the area
Great greens and warm welcome
A splendid undulating course with very true and at times slick greens.
The pro very kindly buggied our delayed 3rd player to join us out on the course.
Great course and very challenging
Played here with my 16 yr old son and we both throughly enjoyed the course. Both being high handicaps (22) we found the course fair but challenging. Ball placement is key here and rewarded when got correct. The greens are some of the best I have ever seen and a credit to the green staff. Very enjoy course if, like us, you enjoy a challenge and a round you have to really think yourself around. Would definitely play again.
Fantastic challenge
Really enjoyed my first round here, what impressed me most was how each hole was a different challenge from the previous. Not overly long but you have to be straight off the tee. Course is VERY hilly, so be prepared to do some walking. Par 3’s are very good, will definitely come back.
Deceptive course. Great leg workout
When you rock up you see quite a flat parkland course. This course needs you to position the ball well off the tee. Get that sorted and you are playing into some really well looked after greens. The course is hilly so not many shots from a flat lie. Will also work the legs
Good to have Flackwell back
Course is in fine condition. Grass growing strongly after the recent rain and greens running well. Tees also very good. All four par 3s at Flackwell Heath are challenging so don't expect an easy ride. There are plenty of other tricky holes. I think the first-cut rough is a bit too long - one shouldn't have to spend time searching for a ball when it is only 3 feet off the fairway - balls are presently nestling down almost completely out of sight. Friendly pro shop and bar staff.. Recommended.
