Friendly staff , course wet with several temps but rest good .

Nice course , but too many temporary greens at least half .

Paid £30 for a round in the week. Got told on arrival that there were a few temps, mainly on the front 9. We only managed to putt on 6 legitimate greens! I totally understand it’s winter golf, but some sort of a notice online when booking would be nice. Wouldn’t pay £30 for a round if I knew most of the greens were unplayable…

Challenging greens and the course is very hilly with a tendency for your balls to always run off to one side on a lot of the holes.

The second hole is difficult to navigate with the four ball in front and the two ball behind playing the wrong green. Top tip. The green is to the right running level with the trees on the right.

If you’re not fit you may want to get a buggy but if you carry…. Good luck.

Almost unplayable due to concrete like fairways on a hilly course the lack of rain this year has affected this course badly however Greens were in good condition.

Don’t bother in the summer. The fairways are bone dry and the course is so undulated it is impossible to track where the balls will end up. I have never seen so many balls lying in the middle of the fairways unclaimed because no one knows where they are ending up. Walked off after 9 holes.

Got an eagle on the first, so a fantastic course of course!

Had a lovely time playing the course. So much so I had 2 rounds.

I did not have clubs with me and both times I was able to borrow some.

First time playing here, really enjoyed it, great value and some really good holes. That slog up the hill at the 12th is no joke!

Hilly course, one for the tactical golfer, greens in great condition

I’ve played this course once before but forgot how hilly it is. Good test for higher handicappers and I took my son around who is new to the game - and he really enjoyed it

Some of the holes are cramped with fairways, greens and tee boxes all in close proximity.

The clubhouse is good as is the food offer.

Great setting.

Extremely hilly course. Lots of restricted views and a very challenging course to walk and play!

This is a beautiful golf course well looked after, the staff are super friendly would highly recommend, nice mixture of holes with good elevation lots of blind drives leaves for a tough but enjoyable round. Definitely worth a go and super well priced will definitely be back.

Bunkers were in poor condition, shallow poor sand and full of flints and this is not the first time, as it seems regularly they are like this. Bunkers are really letting the course down
