Hazlemere Golf Club

Played today in the heat after a summer of sun and the greens are in amazing condition! Kudos to the greenkeepers.

I will absolutely return to play there again.

Dry conditions meaning drives went a distance. Fast greens in great condition. Imposing tee boxes. Some downhill par 4s were driveable, so playing more like par 3s. Front nine more difficult with holes that were true to their par. Back nine much shorter and easier. A few blind tee shots, and tee boxes close to greens, which added a tinge of danger.

However, it was a very fun course to play, and I would recommend it.

Really enjoyed playing Hazlemere. Not the longest course but definitely a challenging one. Some short par 4s but either a long way up or down. We got stuck behind a load of 4 balls playing a competition but the weather was nice and they were all friendly so it didn’t matter. We still managed a 4 hour round which was good. I’d definitely recommend this course to others as it had a good mix of holes you could attack with high risk, high reward shots.

First time playing this course, nice clubhouse and cafe, be aware that the course is quite hilly so might be worth hiring a buggy. Also many of the greens and fairways are blind due to the undulating nature of the course. Otherwise very nice course with good signage and nice greens

The course was in great condition. Great layout, very hilly though.

Lots of blind holes if you haven't played before, Lots of slopes!! Small greens, Lots of worms, temp green.. not very welcoming, told staff never played before.. then had to ask where 1st was... not told off mats..not told temp greens...etc.. wouldn't rush back!!

Superb course, very challenging and in excellent condition in the winter! Very hilly though!

Paid £30 for a round in the week. Got told on arrival that there were a few temps, mainly on the front 9. We only managed to putt on 6 legitimate greens! I totally understand it’s winter golf, but some sort of a notice online when booking would be nice. Wouldn’t pay £30 for a round if I knew most of the greens were unplayable…

Challenging greens and the course is very hilly with a tendency for your balls to always run off to one side on a lot of the holes.

The second hole is difficult to navigate with the four ball in front and the two ball behind playing the wrong green. Top tip. The green is to the right running level with the trees on the right.

If you’re not fit you may want to get a buggy but if you carry…. Good luck.

Almost unplayable due to concrete like fairways on a hilly course the lack of rain this year has affected this course badly however Greens were in good condition.
