Oakland Park Golf Club

Played here once before in the summer, a nice little course that is good for scoring. Wasn't sure what condition the course would be in during mid December having seen some rain that morning. Greens were fantastic, as good as I've seen this time of year anywhere, some tee boxes were a bit soggy but overall the course in very good condition, friendly staff and good food. Good value for money all round and would recommend to any level of golfer

Recommend it highly. I’m a beginner so perfect for me but the fairway and greens were lovely.

The greens had good surfaces as per usual here & ran at a lovely pace. The fairways are recovering from the dry Summer but are still patchy in places .Some of the teeing areas are still uneven. All in all a pleasant & enjoyable round.

Staff extremely welcoming, course is short but tight, tees and greens in great condition, only downside was the restaurant was closed when we finished our round, although the staff did reccomend a pub just down the road that was open for food.

Overall great value and a good experience.

With plenty of Par 3’s, this course challenges your accuracy off the tee but gives you plenty of chances for that hole-in-one we all hope to achieve. A lovely course in good conditions (greens too). Sometimes the pay of play is great, sometimes not so great. Staff super friendly.

We only got 8 holes into the round when the rain got so heavy we had to stop play and go for a cup of tea, until then we loved the course.

It’s short but certainly not simple

It does provide a great opportunity to practice and I’m sure will be better in the autumn when there’s more grass

The greens are well kept but atm fairways are bone dry

It’s a shame there’s no club house

Never heard about this course till a friend mentioned it. We played it yesterday and it proved to be a very interesting course which we enjoyed.

We were made to feel very welcome by everyone we met and the Team in the clubhouse really did look after us. Very happy to recommend as we had a great time.

Thanks to everyone at the club and we will be bringing our society to play next year.

Great fun track. Not a driver course, lots of shots to be played and thought about.

Greens were incredible with it in mind it hasn’t rain really for 3 months

Not the longest golf course but enjoyable to play quite a few doglegs so you have to be precise off tee greens top notch

Played with my society here yesterday. What a fantastic golf course nestled in a beautiful countryside. Short but challenging. Excellent greens! Definitely worth another visit.

If you're buying through Golf Now I would follow up later with a call to the clubhouse as the last two times I've booked through GN, they have given another group the same tee time. They always sort it out but worth mentioning

Not a long course but it makes you think about club selection

Just played the all time slowest round here. First time round this course. Generally an interesting layout. On the short side but enough of a challenge. Greens and fairways in great condition. Tee boxes ok but could do with levelling. The major downside was the length of the round. 3 groups waiting on the first at my tee time and got worse from there. 4 ball pushed in on the back 9 and made it even worse. Waiting on every shot. 4.5hrs for a two ball on a course with 7 par 3a is a joke. Play at twilight or midweek. Avoid at the weekend I think.
