About
Parkland Golf Centre situated in the heart of the ancient Forest of Galtres - 2 miles form the northern section of the York ring road and close to the historic city of York.
From the 7th green, York Munster is visible to the south . The course was designed by Adrian Stiff and there are 2 loops of 9 holes with the alternative starting positions on 1st and 10th tees adjacent to the clubhouse.

Lovely course
Very enjoyable round of golf. Staff friendly and welcoming as were the other golfers. Course in very good condition despite the recent poor weather. Greens were excellent. The course is challenging, suiting straight hitters!! Pace of play was quite slow as we were following a competition. However the overall experience was very good.
Would definitely play there again and recommend to others.
A gem in the Forest of Dean
Similar to previous visits, course in excellent condition. Very welcoming team in the pro shop and bar. Excellent value for money and will undoubtedly be visiting again.
Highly recommended to all golfers.

Excellent Venue with great staff
The course is great with some thinking on lay up shots with some fairways sloping left to right etc. whilst reasonably busy pace of play was excellent. the food and beverage is excellent with a great choice and very reasonably priced. First time visit for my playing partner who enthused about the excellent course and at a fantastic price.
Superb day out
Played this course as our was undergoing maintenance. Really enjoyed it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodated us despite a slight booking error on our part. Course was in great condition and the greens were simply magic. Well done on creating a lovely club and golf course.
Good value
Good value for a well kept course, greens playing quite fast. Only downside was play in front a little slow.
Great experience
Played this on a day off from work using the hot deal so paid £18. Well worth the money, great course with great get greens. Only my 3rd time playing golf again for a long time and the course was exciting whilst still being fairly straight forward, would definitely recommend! The weather was awful for me from the 14th onwards but still had a class time!
A Great Day Out
From the moment we arrived to when we left nothing but praise for all we encountered.
Course in tip top condition. Staff very welcoming. Food excellent. Only downside was the quality of our golf!!
Fantastic course and still developing
Have played it a few times and considering all the rain we have had the course is in fantastic condition.
Firm fairways and quick smooth greens. Was damp in places but green staff had marked GUR ready.
Lovely experience
Course was in amazing shape! Great greens! Staff were very helpful! Clubhouse was immaculate!
Challenging Golf
The course was in great condition
Lots of slopes and some of the greens were quite tricky so made for a challenging game but very enjoyable
The holes weren’t too long and some of the par 4’s seemed quite short to me but i liked this
The pro shop was friendly and nice clubhouse where we sat in very comfy chairs on the patio overlooking the 18th
Plenty of parking as an overflow field
Well maintained course. Greens in good nick. Slow 4 ball in front of us was only downside.
Off the course nice breakfast coffee before the round and nice bar meal afterwards.
Very well kept
Good Fairways and excellent Greens. Great drainage very well looked after.Nice food and friendly staff.
