Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort - Beeches Course

Great course and great value for money, we paid £30 per person which is a steal for such a great course.

It’s a tricky course and bunkers are located in amazing places to make you really think about each shot!

Played forest pines many times and will carry on playing it!

Course was in fantastic condition with all the rain we have had recently, great layout and the staff are really helpful.

The course was feeling the effects of the dry spell - with greens that were patchy and bare patches around the greens/fairways.

However - layout and appearance was very good.

Pace of play was so slow to the point we walked off after 11 holes. We were a 2 ball behind a four ball who wouldn’t let us through despite us being on every tee box with them. I think you should be checking the pace of play after each of the 9’s

Played the Forest and Pines today. Like most courses greens have been spiked. Other than that is was great. Pro was friendly and helpful. Resort was busy but pace of play was good and I enjoyed my round.

First time returning after about a year, taking into account the time of year I thought the course was in poor condition. Fairways covered in worm casts, good job it was pick & place, grass was cur too short & was scabby all over. Signage between green & tee was non-existant . Green were fast and reasonably good condition. A lot of tee's were mats and often would not accept a tee. This was the 3rd different course I've played in the last 3 weeks & this was the poorest and the most expensive. Almost deserted.

As was close by., and given other reviews decided to visit course and play.

Considering all rain the course was in good condition for midweek round.

Course value for money was worth it, and I would definitely recommend.
