An absolutely outstanding course
This is a great USA style layout that are not found much in Lincolnshire. A very well designed course, with plenty of bunkers and water features. However the fairways are open enough for there to be plenty of space to plan your way around. The par 3s are short enough to offer birdie chances and the par 5s reward two well struck approach shots. At 30 GBP per round this course is an absolute must for anyone visiting the region.
Best course we’ve played.
Came here for the first time for one of our friends birthdays, we always try and choose a challenging course for a special occasion and this didn’t disappoint.
The pro shop is one of the best we’ve seen for stock and variety, the staff are really friendly and welcoming and both courses are unbelievable. Will definitely be coming back in the near future!

Please be aware your tee time will be changed!!!
On arrival I checked in to the pro shop and after seeing reviews previously about tee times getting changed, I was fully expecting it, for me it was only 10mins so I wasn’t too fussed but I have seen others get worse. The Pro explained it was due to having 2 different booking systems.
Putting that to the side, the course was a pleasure, long holes with plenty of risk and reward and stunning settings.
The Greens were superb, not ridiculously fast but very true
The fairways were slightly burnt but after the drought that was fully expected and were still decent.
My only issue was the fact as a 1 ball I was following about 8 matches of a 4 ball better ball match vs another club, this links to the booking system conflict as on GolfNow it looked like the course was completely empty all afternoon, thinking I was about to enjoy an afternoon of millionaires golf. And obviously they didn’t let me play through.
Overall a really good venue and course, will definitely be revisiting.
Great Course
Really enjoyed playing this course, thought the back 9 in particular was really interesting, almost links like at times given the recent dry weather and whispy rough. Highly recommend.
Good course
No probs with the course, fairways like most courses at the moment need some rain. Greens very good and true. Bunkers good sand but not enough as liner is showing in a few. Only complaint was we booked on golf now for 10.44 only to be told our time would be 11.14 because members wanted to play and even when we were at the tee players were turning up with no tee time booked.

Great layout and interesting holes with some very picturesque holes. Well worth a round

Course in excellent condition. A challenging course with greens well protected and plenty of water hazards but all the same enjoyable 👍

Tough but fair course. Lots of interesting holes that require some strategy instead of just blasting driver.
Stunning course, shabby treatment.
The course itself was wonderful, immaculate greens, well kept, greenkeepers in evidence hard at work. Couldn't fault it at all.
Sadly however we were made to feel unwanted on arrival. Being told sorry, the tee time you've booked and paid for, has been moved back half an hour. No warning, no communication. Simply to accommodate members who wished to play at the time I had booked... 30 minutes isn't much, agreed, but it was the difference between an enjoyable day on the course. And one spent with one eye on the watch the entire time, worried about making it home on time, stuck behind said members, playing extremely slowly...
The course was stunning, the treatment much less so....

Beautiful course , excellent condition, very reasonable green fee at £25, Will definitely be playing it again this year.
Really enjoyed this course. A drinks fountain on the 10th would be a welcome addition

Really enjoyed this amazing and well layed out course, but I didn't do myself any favours having my worst round in months but still enjoyed it

It’s been 2 years since the tour came to karsten lakes and what a difference lovely weather and the course was in brilliant condition and the greens were lovely like carpets the staff were friendly and the other golfers were friendly as well we had the course to ourselves no rushing or stuck behind slow players and the price for Saturday golf 25 quid course amazing gets 5 stars 🌟 from us wow 👍👍⛳️
