Normanby Hall Country Park

Visited and played the course for the first time yesterday and what a gem of a course it is. How had we not found this sooner? Despite the lack of rain in recent weeks, the course was in good condition. Bunkers and greens were especially good (although greens were slow due to the longer grass length to protect them). Challenging course and it’s really difficult to believe this is a public course. Loved the layout of the course. Plenty of benches and ball washers, toilets at the 10th and a good clubhouse. Shame we live too far away to become members but we will definitely be back to play again.

Great course plays hard if not in fairways bunkers was hit and miss some with no sand some with plenty fairways solid ground and abit burnt but can understand with the sun we had but overall enjoyed it alot shot 77 off 8hcp so about right.

Cart wait till all done and will definitely play many more times

Normanby Hall golf course is absolutely brilliant . Played there 10 years now the course is the best in this area now. Greens and fairways fantastic . Grounds people have worked very hard amazing thanks

Wasn’t sure what to expect from the course. Pleasantly surprised with the condition of the greens and fairways. The pro was excellent as was the bar staff. It was great to play a round of golf and only wait on one tee for the players in front!

The only area to rove where some of the bunkers - many had no sand or very little. Would certainly play again.

Played lots of time at Normanby Hall golf course. This summer 2026 Normanby is the best course greens immaculate . Fair ways great condition. The holes on the greens been cut immaculate. Along course need to be patient not a easy course. Great day recommend Normanby 9/10 . 100% playing Normanby lots this summer and autumn . ⛳️👍👍

Great course it’s playing real well defo one to play

Course excellent but we finished at 14:45 put our clubs in the car went to the bar but couldn’t get food as food finished at 15:00 no told us.

Thoroughly enjoyed having to navigate the course & hazards, greens in good condition along with the upkeeping of newly laid turf etc, a credit to the Team at Normanby, will be returning

Very friendly and chatty club shop pro. Well stocked pro shop and good practice areas. Very relaxed and friendly vibe among those at the tee and on the course. Council do amazingly well with little touches here and there, including sharp edged bunkers and good ball cleaners. A long and challenging course than is the best value in the area.

Normanby continues to get better and better. You can see that the investment on the course over the last couple of years is coming to fruition and in a couple of months time the course is going to be belting.

It provides a really fair test of your golf game and with the relatively low green fees it's an absolute gem!

Maintenance week, all temporary greens & some winter tee's. Good value for time of year. Course in good condition but plenty of work going on, played multiple times

Although on a few winter greens the greens that where on were brillant for the amount of rain we’ve had,generally course in good condition for time of year,plenty of work being done around the course with a few holes having new bunkers around the greens,going to be in fantastic condition spring/summer time,as a frequent player of this course all year round looking forward to the warmer drier longer days

Pity only 3 greens were being used as love the course , understandably I must add after all the rain . Price didn’t reflect really though , should have been cheaper under the circumstances
