Greens and fairways are poor, lovely location and course but needs to maintained much much better. Doubt ill go back

First time playing I believe the course is under new ownership the front nine isn’t in great nick weeds in the bunkers some fairways like playing in the rough however the back nine was in a lot better shape I hope the new owners keep going and don’t let it fall like a lot of other courses recently. No clubhouse or pro shop etc the club can only be reached by email

Golf course has potential but the greens just aren’t looked after at all, course layout is average but definitely was not worth the trip up. Back 9 is much more looked after but still bobbly greens what need work. Would be worth £10 a round MAX. Wouldn’t return or recommend if needed to travel. Staff in the hut was very helpful though.

Evidently they sold the Frodsham clubhouse to the Kids nursery, so the new clubhouse is a booth in the car park. The greens aren’t great, the bunkers pretty awful, there’s a lot of course tending needed - that said it’s a beautiful course, undulating, some great holes and really enjoyed a quiet cheap game on a Saturday afternoon. Will return.

Nearly all greens are dry, and patchy. Course used to be very good, but now is a mess. Clubhouse closed.

The fairways were immaculate but the Greens were horrific - like putting on a cart path in some areas and in the rough in others,

No pro shop or club facilities .

Love playing this course friendly and not too difficult

Stunning course with great variety of holes to test your golf. Unfortunately the greens are in an awful condition and putting is a guess. Still worth a visit if make this allowance. Would still play again soon.

I’ve played this course at least once a month this yeast and I’ve never seen the greens (or browns) so bad. It’s like they haven’t been watered all summer.

The course and layout is stunning but this place is not being managed well, the greens are horrendous and they need to close for the winter to sort them out, they were bad last year and now even worse, last year was £12 and this year was £20 on worse conditions

Friendly staff and a great course to play. Yes some work needs doing but they are working hard to get the course to scratch.

Definitely value for money and some new stuff in the pipe line.

We got the rain ,course played well,really enjoyed it,great value.

Have played here on many occasions very friendly club and great for golfers starting out or getting back into golf

Challenging holes not too far but many interesting holes and nice views

A lovely round of golf yet again at frodsham with some stunning views from all across the course. Playing conditions are getting much better and 100% worth the money you’re paying.

Very very poor course. Litter everywhere, tee boxes a joke and the green well let’s not talk about those as they are absolutely horrible. Can’t believe there was so many members there. Much better clubs in nearby Runcorn helsby ect. Save you’re money and don’t bother.

If we had of known that the greens and tee boxes were do poor we wouldn't of booked.

1 half decent green out of 18 the rest where uncut, bare and bumpy. Just made a mockery out of the rest of the course.

Not worth £5 let alone £20. Would of complained when we came off but at 14:30 the booth was locked up and no one was there.
