Widnes
A great day out, staff unbelievably friendly in the pro shop particularly and also the bar, members also very friendly and letting on and chatting throughout the round which always helps on a first visit. Course was in great condition for this time of year and will be looking to return in a few months when a bit dryer. All in all a great day and course and look forward to returning!
Overall very good course.
Good challenge for mid/high handicappers and I look forward to coming back in the summer. Really friendly staff.
Only downside was some temp greens in action due to conditions. Also the temp practice green was closed and only one net to warm up in (that had seen better days)
Worth a visit
Really good layout with testing tee shots throughout course was sadly hard going because of heavy rain. But green ran well and bunkers were playable.

Great course to play but narrow for myself as I slice the ball but other than that great course to play and good course to better your golf game
cracking course!
great little course nestled in a residenatial area. First time playing and we received a very warm welcome at the pro shop with some little tips to get us round. Not the longest course but suited myself and my playing partner down to ground. Greens in excellent condition considering the hot weather we have been having. once into middle of the course its gets a bit tight with crossing crossing tees etc so have to keep wits about you a bit but everyone understands and all players were very accommodating and very friendly. Great little find this and will defo be back again. thank you!

Great place 😊
On arrival checked in and a very friendly welcome, and an overview of course and a few pointers on hazards. The course itself was in great condition, tight challenging fairways and the green were lovely. Didn’t get chance to visit the club house as only had time for the round. Very nice course

Excellent golf course - Highly recommend
Played here a few times over the summer and again we received a very warm welcome from the Pro. Course was in superb condition and is a fair challenge for golfers of any standard. Highly recommend this course.

Nice little course
For a small area of land they’ve managed to get 18 holes in quite well. There are some points where there’s multiple tees and greens in fairly close proximity but didn’t cause any problems. Course was in great condition and staff were all welcoming and friendly. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Not great
greens are slow and needed rolling, couple of them have trenches in them.
Layout is weird, constantly crossing over and waiting for tee boxes to clear
worst thing is the pace of play took 4 hours 40 in a 2 ball. another 2 ball teed off on our tee time and there was a queue on every single hole. stewarding needed.
There is better around for the money, there is also no pro shop just an empty room and a desk
Really sorry to see your ‘not great’ comment but can understand after 4 Hrs 40 minutes. Can’t understand what went wrong there as our average 3-ball time in Saturday comps is 3 hrs 45 mins. Excellent - Highly Recommended
Played this course a couple of months ago and left a review of how poor the condition of the greens were but playing now is a world of difference. The course is in immaculate condition and all greens perfect. Very warm welcome from the Pro. Incredible turnaround in the course from playing last time and a course I would highly recommend playing.

Great course, but don't members let it down.
First time playing there, course is in great condition, greens are great. Tricky layout if you haven't played there before. What makes it more harder is when you have members playing up Your rear. Look fair enough if I was playing slow but i know i dont, but teeing off from the tee box b4 I've even got to my second shot. I let them play through but then the next lot(memebers) playing off from the tee box before I've even had a chance to hit mine onto the green.

My son and I have just finished a round at this club. We were visitors. Nice warm welcome from the pro-shop and members. Course in great condition but told by members it gets even better . Tight course for me with a slice but we enjoyed it immensely

Course needs some attention
The course needs some attention the greens in particular are in a poor condition with lots of unevenness that’s not been present before. Overall disappointing from when we have played the course previously
