Should be a dp tour venue
This is the best course I have played,and in my opinion it could be on dp tour if only a little short on length.Its in a beautiful setting either side of a railway and on multiple levels.Greens ad been treated but still playable and in a couple of months will be like snooker tables.A little pricey but you have to pay to play a course like this ,think I'm going to sell my car to try and get membership 😀

Friendly staff, good facilities
Course was great, good layout. Fairways were average, most likely down to time of year.
Greens were great but a little woolly which to be fair was perfect for me.
Overall it was a great place and I will be back soon.
Only thing I’d change is the gate to get out, not sure why it isn’t just a push button for exit. No code was given or mentioned for exit. But didn’t hamper our spirits
Would like to play in summer
Had an enjoyable round at Retford GC. Interesting layout with a variety of shots needed, some short, some long, some draw and a fade works too. Winter tees still in use on most holes and greens that were a tad bobbly and uncut around the flags - making putting a lottery.
Would like to play again in the summer to offer up better scores as the tee boxes open and the grass starts to grow.

Great Course.
Great course in good condition. Friendly, helpful staff and was made welcome by members on the course. Layout of the holes good with great scenery. Will definitely be going back and will be recommending to friends
Top course
Course condition was first class, greens true and a good pace cannot pick any faults with the course and clubhouse. Just lacks a driving range but able to warm up in nets and putting and chipping green. Would recommend to any class of golfer.

Hadn't played here for years but with time off work, took the opportunity and was well impressed. From tee to green, course is in fabulous condition!
Putting green upto scratch. No range, but 2 practise nets to warm up in if you would like too.
Will definitely be returning when get the chance.
