Nice course , impacted in the day due to the weather conditions. Very quiet in the day and very enjoyable round of golf.
Great parkland course
Great parkland course just outside Hull, we caught the tail end of a nine hole competition so the pro said we could play the back nine first, it was like having your own course we flew round, course was in great nick ,it was a most enjoyable late afternoon game and for £12 you couldn’t go wrong.
Nice change
Decided to play somewhere different, so looked on Golf Now & found this course for a reasonable price. The day was lovely & sunny & the course was in near perfect condition. Most of the par 4’s are under 400yds, but still hard to par due to a lot of the greens being undulating & making putting quite a challenge, Quite a few established trees on the course, which I found myself behind a few times. I would be quite happy to play there again & hopefully get a better score.
Holding up great
The course and greens were the best I’ve played in the last few weeks. We’ve had bad weather but the greens were all still running great and held no water.
There was a comp on which slowed the game a lot. Some real slow players unfortunately, so a 2 ball took us 4hr30!
Not the courses fault of coarse.
Defo recommend.
Would never recommend
Were told we couldn’t tee off at the correct time due to a competition and not being good enough to play in between… Pace of play being quoted as the reason, yet having to wait for 5-6 mins on almost every hole for the people ahead.
Would not recommend to anyone and wouldn’t play here again. We tee’d off and was then called back to play behind ‘members’. Yet our tee shots went further than theirs, and we had to wait for them on holes too.
