Hornsea Golf Club

First time I've played this course, it was £50 for 18 holes, always difficult to get a tee time, expected a quality course but sadly not worth the money, I've played courses around the east coast that were cheaper and better, having said that the clubhouse and pro shop are very good

Pro was very helpful on arrival. Didn't have a course planner which was a shame as was my first visit. The course was in very good condition/ the greens very true and a good pace. The course was a good test . The last 5 holes really do make it though. The clubhouse was nice and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely play again.

Reasonable run on ball, greens receptive and running fairly well. Some tees relocated since last visit (for winter?). Bunkers in good condition.

always wanted to play this course and it didnt dissappoint, will be back again

Interesting course with some good holes, spoilt by very deep first cut and rough, and grass mounds stupidly placed around and on the fairways, leading to issues with loosing balls and over penalising good shots. Pace of play appalling, following a number of 4 balls of a visiting party and members, nearly 5 hours to complete the round. Will not play again any time soon.

Excellent day,course great for time of year,fairways a bit patchy;greens a little brown,but to be honest I'm being very picky,wouldn't hesitate to play again.

Brilliant day

Good layout, third time of coming here. greens a bit disappointing quite slow, rough extremely long, couple in front seemed to spend more time looking for balls than playing eventually let us through after the 14th hole, so made it a long roung.
