Poor

The course is meant for all standards of amateur golfers. It is set up like a U S open . Long rough narrow fairways, not even a fairway to aim at on the tenth with the second shot. The bunkers are a disgrace and should all be ground under repair until they get some sand in and cut down the trees. The bottom of the ninth has been left as Marsh land which will cause massive problems come winter. This hole will be lost unless something done. Rough in the middle of fairway on longest hole , why? Fairway bunkers in the rough? If nothing done to cut the rough the course will be closed come winter as water logged. 5th tee needs a lot of work before someone breaks there ankle in all the pot holes.

Way Over Par The Price

Uxbridge Golf Course ticks so many boxes for a high handicapper like myself. Well maintained fairways reward decent shots and excellent greens provide a fair putting test. Course layout is reasonably inventive, use of contours demand efficient approach shots and uphill holes test both your stamina and shot-making ability. The short downhill 2nd is a delightful hole and a dogleg layer in the round provides contrast and invites thoughtful course management. All in all Uxbridge GC is terrific value for money and a thoroughly pleasant experience all round.

Go early

The pace of play was slow 3 & 1/4 hours for a two ball to play 12 holes, being sandwiched between 2 groups of 5 in the end didn’t help. the course itself, greens are a little slow & don’t go off the fairways or in the shocking bunkers !!

Played here for over thirty years such a shame the council who maintain this facility don’t invest more resources into it.

Great value and just right for a shorter round

We played Uxbridge on a slightly wet end of July day and for 12 pounds it is great value. The course is in good condition and well layed out.

Some of the fairway fringe grass is very lush and it's easy to lose your ball which can be frustrating.

Lovely club house and views over the course for the post round debrief.

Great value for money

Lovely course and condition. 1st timers may get lost between some holes due to the lack of signage, eg 9th and 10th.
