Golfer Reviews
Harefield Golf Club
I've not played this course since it became 12 hole. I was really impressed at the condition of the fairways, teeboxes & greens which were in excellent condition. Surprising as Hillingdon Council own Haste Hill which I played last week & the course is nowhere near as good condition & I shot 5 over which was a bonus.
Beat value 12 holes
Why spend £5 on diving range when you can enjoy 12 holes on a good golf course pity it’s not the original 18 but still very enjoyable and a good test
Great course
Course is in excellent condition. A bit dusty and muddy in one area but the rest of it is great
Course was in great condition for a public one and is ideal to play if time is at a premium.
Windy day at Uxbridge
We had a challenging day yesterday. With the wind blowing from the clubhouse down the course it was very hard going especially when playing back up the hill towards the clubhouse on the 6th, 8th and 12th. They are 'long' holes anyway with the slope but with the wind probably about 70 yards longer.
The greens were suprisingly quick and fairways OK. It is good value for money and sometimes 12 holes is all you want, yesterday was a good example. We left feeling as though we had played 18!
