Excellent course
Fantastic course for the money. 4 holes that wouldn’t be out of place on any course. Excellent value for money and in good condition.
Great value
Was greeted by a chirpy fella in the pro shop. Went around the 12 holes in 2 hours and the course was in a good condition will definitely be playing again.

Bunkers please take the builders sand out of all the bunkers and put the proper sanding as they’re like concrete
Uxbridge golf
The course was in splendid condition and the staff professional and helpful as ever.
Playing at Uxbridge
Really great staff. Made me feel so welcome. The course is in good condition. The 8th is a challenge, quite a steep hill. I really enjoyed it without feeling under any pressure. I will play it again soon.
12 holes very good
It may only be 12 holes but sometimes that is plenty when you are short of time and I highly recommend Uxbridge.
Hello my old Friend
Great to be back at Uxbridge after a year hiatus. Familiar faces in the club shop & in the clubhouse. Only drawback was an error with the food order, but not enough to deter me from coming again.
Lovely fairways, very difficult rough, lots of elevation changes and atrocious greens
I used to love playing here. I still do but it's not what it once was. Played here on and off since I was a teenager (now in my 30s) but the greens when I went a week ago were shockingly bad. They had been aerated but the aeration holes were so big you could actually stick the flag in some of them. I didn't, obviously, as I didn't want to make the greens even worse, but you could see some of them were big enough to fit the flagstick in. Add to that, they're patchy as anything. I've played plenty of other courses around the area in recent weeks and months and these are by far the worst I've come across in that time.
With the massive negative out of the way, I must say I do still love this course. It's extremely challenging due to the undulations of the holes, the massive elevation changes and the very thick rough. There are some holes, such as the 1st and the 8th, where it just seems impossible to hold onto the fairway due to the heavy sideways slope that runs down the fairway. The only way really to keep your tee shot on the fairway is to aim for the upper area of rough and hope it trickles down.
On any hole, once you're in the rough, you may as well just take a mid-short iron and pitch it back out onto the fairway. and then trying your approach shot. Forget about taking a long iron or even a hybrid out of the rough. You're setting yourself up for a low trickler along the ground which will lose a lot of distance.
This course beat me up and spat me back out again but I still love it. It's a workout. It's only 12 holes but I'm a lot more tired after playing there than I am playing 18 literally anywhere else. I just wish the greens weren't so terrible. They really do make an already incredibly tough course that much more difficult.
