Haste Hill Golf Club

Despite having a deluge of rain the evening before and into early hours of the morning, the course was in a very good condition. The greens were in excellent shape and not slow as one would expect after having all the amount of rain they had. Fairways were also in good condition. with the first cut being not too high and the rough, not much higher, but still could loose your golf ball.

Had a nice round of golf. Only my second time out on a course and the weather meant there were few people willing to take the risk of getting caught in the rain. We managed to get round without holding anyone up and whilst there were a few challenging holes there wasn’t anything too difficult.

An absolute gem of a course, wonderful challenge of golf at a very reasonable price

Only negative is that condition of course appears to suffering from low maintenance and shocking failure of players to repair pitch marks. What a pity but nonetheless the best value and challenge in the area

Golf course in very poor condition.Grass not cut properly particularly the fringes.Will only play again if overall condition is improved.

Had a lovely round, playing with a friend. Have played Haste Hill many times, and still find something to catch you out. Some ditches run across the fairway, which make them too easy to drive into. And some bunkers are tricky to get out of

The 1st hole is a great imposing start to the round

I thought the greens were not as fast yesterday, and were possibly a little bumpy due to spiking

But still a lovely course with good variety of holes

All the course is in a very good condition except for the greens, which are quite slow. Currently there is no bar so you need to bring your own drinks and food.

great course to play challenging and the pro shop advised me before i started the greens had been redressed and the fairways cut the greens played slow but had a great round with two other golfers i met on the first was fun

the greens had been redressed and that affected the roll of the ball the fairways were amazing so quick the pro in the shop did advise of this before you go out shame the bar wasnt open and was told that the council are looking at new companies to run it .really worth the price for value
