Great little course, well looked after.
Not played here in 25 years - but thought I’d play Ilford post lockdown. Greens were great, other golfers were all friendly - ground staff were helpful and attentive when asking about the course.
Car park was busy, and the new club house construction means sharing space with all the building materials and people working on the site. Most things are self intuitive. Course does play a bit short - and a fair few holes overlap, so you need to be conscious of other players whereabouts when teeing off. Really enjoyable round - and that was in pouring rain. Would definitely play again.
Lovely little course
This is a lovely little course. It's completely flat, no major hills to speak of. At the time we played the club house was closed and looked to be getting refurbished. We would happily play there again.
Very short and lots of cross overs but ok
Very short course but lots of cross overs. Put your driver and Even 3 wood away.
Course good in very trying conditions
Only completed 12 holes as weather got the better of us
First time playing this course yesterday and considering all the rain we’ve had it was in great condition.
I will be certainly be coming back. It’s a short course with some challenging holes, great for your iron play,
however the only down side is that the signage for the next hole was very poor.
Other than that great course, will be back soon
Course closed
Would have been nice to have been informed that club house, pro shop and course if closed. Did not play. Disaster
Nice course
Nice course, just lacks signs for the next tee. It’s quite confusing layout if it’s your first time.
Did not like layout of several holes, seemed a bit dangerous for any wayward golfers.
Did not like that on a few holes players from other holes either crossed your fairway or easily hit into the fairway you were playing. Also a couple of blind holes.
Great course but keep your wits about you
Actually loved the layout but if you are new to this course the layout could be considered dangerous on some holes due to blind approach shots, crossovers and tee boxes close to greens
That said we enjoyed it, staff and members very hospitable and one to play again in the summer months. Recommended
