great wee course for the cash

greens in great condition - a bit slow but maybe left long to protect

fairways a bit patchy but it is a public course and reliies on rainfall.

Challenging course great condition

Lovely woodland course, accuracy is the key off the tee as rough and forest harsh and gobbles up balls( so bring plenty if you not a straight hitter!)

Lovely course and rolling fairways literally as like walking over speed humps !

Only negative was the quite rude barmaid in clubhouse

And having to sign in for 1 drink !

But I guess they are trying to keep traditional

Great for the money

Regularly play after work etc and for the money it can’t be beaten if you go at the right time. Slow play and people just wandering around the course (a dog stole my ball on the 6th green) can be an issue but good value for money - much trickier than you’d think, really punishes you on the back 9 if you miss the fairway.

As I say, slow play can get really bad at times but good for the money -£11 for an after work round.

Beautiful weather for a game of golf. It was very busy, but this was to be expected because of the weather and got me out of the house. I have said many times that the course needs a halfway house, not juts for Tea, Coffee, Bacon sandwich but also new balls LOL!!!, it would make a killing

Forget about it in rain/poor weather

Drainage is awful, all temp tee boxes, pace is so slow, greens were like marshes and ball sunk in and then didn’t roll. Left after 4 holes paying £30 and I think I would pay that not to play there again. Will try in summer but even still get the feeling with dog walkers etc the course probably won’t be worth the drive. Photo is on a green 3 yards from pin

Great track, greens harder than they look. Nice to play in shoulder season when the fairways are a little greener and the course is less busy. One of my go-to golf courses in the local area 👌
