Great course, shame about the members

First time playing the course, the course itself is great and in good condition considering the winter months. This was tempered somewhat by the attitude of the rude and obnoxious members, who put a dampener on the round and made us feel extremely unwelcome throughout.

Should you be on TeeOffTimes if you don’t do them?

On check-in told the course ‘doesn’t do tee-off times’...we only do that for the TOT website. Not great news when you booked an early time to get out an play & there’s a queue of members waiting to tee off at your booked time. Ended up sandwiched between several groups so after a few decided to miss out some holes to create some space. Don’t think you can have it both ways - if you want visitors extra cash then you need to use actual Tee-Off-Times. Otherwiise it’s just rather awkward.

Pros; Really nice layout, amazing views, used greens ok for time of year, good facilities (nets, range, compressed air etc)

Cons; Sticky clay mud base, don’t do tee times, winter greens on some holes required, bird cannons in local area
