Great place to visit
Outstanding playing conditions on the day matched by the course conditions , well stocked and well staffed pro shop, I will definitely be returning
Course was very busy and play was a little slow.
Conditions were wet but the course was in great condition considering.
Lovely course and would love to play it again
Hedgehog wheels
Frustrating to have to hire hedgehog wheeled trolley when it is plain to see the damage these cause to the course! Seems like a bit of a money spinner!?
Good course
Gooid course, overall flat. Greens well kept. Pro shop help was excellent. One real niggle for us was the closeness of the tees to the previous hole. This is quite off putting as you can see the players teeing off on about 5 holes immediately behind (10 feet) the green you are approaching.
Lovely West Country course.
One of my favourite courses in the southwest. I play off 18 and is a great mixture of forgiving and punitive. The staff were great and Josh in the pro-shop sorted us a buggy last minute.
My only compliant was nothing to do with the club, a belligerently slow couple hacking around, that would not let anyone through.
Excellent course
Excellent course in first class condition. Excellent practice putting green, chipping green with sand bunker and driving nets. Not too onerous physically for players in late 50’s. Some very nice holes with good variety. This was my 3rd time on the course, will come again.
We’ll presented
We were looking for course local to our stay.
Fairways, greens and tees were well manicured and thoroughly enjoyed the round.
It’s not a long course however it’s one that needs to be plotted carefully in order to score well.

A lovely course
Nice course. Tree lined so requires accuracy off the tee. Well kept course. Ponds , water hazards, fairway bunkers and green side bunkers are many. Overall it was a good course. A test for my level of golf

Found the course in good condition, however it was just a bit boring. Felt crammed in and pretty unadventurous in design. Good value for money, but wouldn’t return

Great course and conditions. Love playing here. Would become a member but due to work commitments not really possible.

Good condition
Played on a saturday afternoon . Pace of play was terribly slow followed two four balls. Front 9 quite boring and flat but bunkers had lovely raked sand and greens were as good as ive seen. 3mm. Cut beatiful. The back 9 opens up to the medip hills with a lovely par 3 hitting down hill towards the medips fantastic views. The remaining holes have wide fairways anygolfer can find the fairway here. Over all not terribly challenging but would rate it 7 out of 10 overall
Fantastic greens
Some of the best greens in the area with a strong if unremarkable course. Great club house and facilities with a large pro shop and friendly staff.

Not the longest course but one of the best in the area. Greens were excellent and course condition overall was very good. Friendly staff.
