The colors of the golden aspen trees was an added treat to this challenging course.

PLAYED THIS COURSE LAST YEAR AND ENJOYED IT. GREENS AND FAIRWAYS IN GREAT SHAPE. AND THE ASPENS WERE A BEAUTIFUL YELLOW.

Hard the first time. Course knowledge will allow scoring to improve Fun to play.

Came up here with some buddies for a little golf weekend. Always wanted to play the course. Pretty sure I won't be playing it again. Great views and conditions were alright.
I would recommend playing somewhere else if your in the area. Eagle or Silverthorne have better options.

Vail not only has the best skiing in the USA but the Vail Golf course is truly an experience not to be missed. Very friendly staff and greens that will challenge better players. Roughs are difficult but most fairways are wide and forgiving.

Pricing is good....only negative comment we have is last week played and were told by rangers to pick up our pace 3 times...now most would think we were duffing but seriously we were playing 12 minutes ahead and constantly waiting on a threesome ahead....reported that to golf shop when we finished at 3:55 round???? Strange...what sup told them to do this?
Overall still our fav.

Was not one of my better rounds (just one of those days); but it was so beautiful that I was able to enjoy every moment.

Thank God I didn't pay $109. Worst course I've played in colorado. Cart guys and rangers were the best part aside from views.

We arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes early to enjoy a quick bite. We stood at what appeared to be the hostess stop. One bartender who was obviously busy because 2 gentleman were occupying him try to get their drinks from him because no one came to their table, as with us once he told us to sit anywhere. We were so grateful to be able to eat before our tee time and God is good because the food was top notch. Thank the Lord, we needed a positive.
The starter was the best(A gentleman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and real genuine. I tried to get a margarita for my wife and Trey did his best to accommodate and then a salty dog, but still no go at Vail Golf Club. The course after first tee was a complete o.k. but rough experience. I won't even imagine how I'd felt if I paid $109!!. The cart guys were most memorable positive, they really seemed genuine.

Beautiful views, wide fairways, interesting mix of terrain and tee to green distances. Small greens, and putting is challenging. Play in the morning before afternoon wind and storms roll in. Good pace of play - much better than before.

Played on a GolfNow "hot deal", excellent value, at 2:30 pm, VERY windy, course not busy but the 2 of played alone and had to wait for a twosome ahead of us on several holes. Still we finished in just over 4 hr.

Beautiful golf course,, with lush, tight fairways - add in the stunning views of the mountains, and the day was perfect.

I will not recommend this course until repair is completed. Changed hole numbers. No hole 18.

PROBABLY MY BEST ROUND EVER PLAYING VGC OVER THE LAST 20+ YEARS...AND JOINED BY MY WIFE, SON AND DAUGHTER WHO ALSO PLAYED WELL...VGC IS STILL COMING OUT OF HIBERNATION BUT ALREADY IN GOOD SHAPE WITH GREAT GREENS

You almost forget you are playing golf, views are majestic! Great course, MUST PLAY!

I really liked this course and it was in fantastic shape. It would be awesome if it wasn't so close to the highway but you can't have everything. With the price I paid for a tee time including a cart from Golfnow was incredible. I can't wait to play this course again.

Will play again if opportunity arises. Very friendly staff and course in great shape.

The course is a very enjoyable layout and the condition of the course conditions were exceptional, especially given the amount of rainfall the area had recently received.

This course offers a nice mix of holes with sand and water. Although not a real long course it has several dog-legs along with elevation changes. It offers some stunning scenery through a long stretch of the Vail valley. Always a fun and scenic course to enjoy.

Played when US Pro Cycling Bicycle Tour was in town and had course all to myself...played in about 2 hours! I love mountain courses, this one is nice like Breckenridges' and almost as nice as Lake Tahoe's Edgewood Course. Best results were to throttle back to 3 wood on shorter par 4's to stay in play, else fairways were generous. Suggest you practice a pop-up shot from 5-15-25 yards out of the very grabby, thick grass protecting the green or you'll waste a lot of shots. Greens were true, course was in great shape and Golf Now had an amazing price including cart that was a fourth of the normal price for 18 holes in the afternoon. I will play this everytime I come back to the area, a no brainer. Enjoy!

Tee time was delayed due to frost in early am. Starters made no effort to make up time, paid no attention to getting groups ready to tee off as soon as the fairway was clear on No. 1. This made a big difference as many foursomes either didn't finish or finished in near dark.
