Knebworth Golf Club

The course was in top condition. Greens was immaculate. Nice layout we played later pace of play was amazing no one behind for maybe a few holes. Haven't been to the pub or restaurant was too knackered lol. Definitely come again.

Greens are rapid but very pure and the same goes for the rest of the course, amazing fairways and tee boxes. A lot of variation on holes especially for the par 3’s from 170yard uphill to 150yd downhill or 180yd over a huge slope and of course a 135yd straight par 3.

Overall excellent experience and will definitely be back. I’m even considering joining here as a member.

I’m a 13 handicap and ended up going round in 89, tough course and very fun . Fairways are a little muddy and difficult to play off but that’s just the winter talk. For sure a great course during summer time

After only recently getting back in to golf, I played Knebworth for the first time today despite living only 1 mile from the course.

On arrival at 7:00 am it was very quiet and appeared not to be open.

I bumped in to a very nice chap, Bob who explained where to go, and that as course was very quiet first thing I could tee off a bit earlier.

Thoroughly enjoyed my round. (Despite my score).

The course is superb.

Well kept tees and greens.

Despite being autumn and leaves falling everywhere, the grounds staff were out blowing the leaves away from fairways and rough making it easy to find your ball when it went a little off piste.

Liam in the halfway house was very friendly, and supplied me with halfway fuel to keep me powered to take on the next 9 holes.

It was a little hillier than I had imagined it to be, so gave me a good workout.

I look forward to playing Knebworth again in the future, and recommend anybody that hasn’t played here to book a round.

Great greens. Well maintained. Not too busy, everyone friendly.

Chose Knebwoth as it had a driving range (not the best, not many targets and the lay or the land meant that you can’t check your distances between about 120-180 yards, but was more than long enough and there is a chipping area and putting area for practice) which was essential for myself. The guy in the pro shop was very nice and helpful, The course was a dream to play, a beautiful parkland course, would love to be a member there, made par on the first hole, Yes. It’s of good length and good par 3’s. Only bad points were a few areas were under repair and could do with a bit more sand and less stone in the bunkers, (I found more than I care to remember lol) I’m not sure if I lost the 15th & 16th holes, I was getting tired at this point and it was getting dark so I wasn’t too bothered. Definitely on my favourites list and will definitely go back again. Long and short a great course.

Challenging course not too long but played shorter with the soft ground greens were a bit bobly but it is winter so probably left them long for protection. Will be back in the summer and looking forward to playing Knebworth again

Absolutely stunning course. Challenging holes. Kept to a high standard. Great driving range and chipping facilities aswell as a nice putting green. The on course greens are large but extremely well looked after, running very true and smooth. Overall outstanding value at £30 after a certain time. Defo be back. Then for a lovely cold refreshing pint in the club house after which was very clean and set out very nicely. Nice outside seating area also. 5 stars. Well done knebworth.

Very well groomed course, great greens, where you have to be very responsible in how to find on them and then make stalemates! And that makes for an interesting game!

Great course, given the conditions and time of year. Only 2 minor criticisms, the greens were a touch patchy but can only put it down to the time of year and the bar was closed afterwards, however we did finish at 6 on a Sunday so it’s understandable. Great course and looking forward to playing in the summer!

Good condition for this time of year. Hilly, quite challenging with trees but good rough. Greens had been dressed so slow, few patches too. Would come back

Very wet as January and soil very sticky underfoot. Greens were very slow and patchy. Got stuck behind some players on front 9 so very slow. Course is quite nice looking and I’m sure is better in warmer, drier weather
