Good course in very good condition. Friendly members 4 ball in front that let us through. Very enjoyable

Very nice course with excellent greens offering some challenges and chances to make a birdie or two. Very welcoming and helpful staff and other players too. They seemed happy to be there and everybody was very relaxed and sociable.

My twoball didn't play particularly well and it rained a fair amount to help try and spoil the day.. Importantly the course held up well, a few soggy areas but they were mainly off the beaten track. The tees and greens were excellent, the fairways were very good and easily took a divot., remember it had had a fair bit of rain on them over the previous few days. However, I am really looking forward to playing this course again in better weather.

The chap at reception was very friendly, chatted freely and offered advice about the best way to approach buying a new driver. The bar area was functional, not terribly inviting but did serve up a nice pint which was just what the doctor ordered after dealing with the elements. I would recommend this course.

Was really looking forward to playing here having played 9 years ago and was impressed. But the weather has really taken its toll. Whilst the fairways have been hurt by the changing weather I was surprised and disappointed by the greens and tee boxes. It was also incredibly busy and the back 9 was really backed up - sometimes two groups waiting on the same tee. The front 9 had been a good pace but I guess the short holes on the back 9 are a factor. Will give it another go in the Spring as it has potential to be a lovely course and from memory it was in the past.

Really good course, just a bit slow on the back nine. Would play again. Greens in pretty good condition.

We started on time, but progress was very slow. We had to wait on EVERY t box and on some times we had two groups waiting to t- off.

This did not detract from the course which has a number of interesting holes.

We found out at the end that there was a society golf day who I think was the cause of the delay.

I played n my own ,I had 3 x 3 balls in front of me ,by the 5th they had all been polite and let me through .

I enjoyed playing here the man in the pro shop was friendly ,The fairways and greens were very good ,I had a 12ft putt on the 6th ,I wouldn`t normally pay this for a round ,but can`t wait to go again

A picturesque course with some challenging holes, most enjoyable,even with a couple of showers thrown in!

Greens were hollowtined and pretty much impossible to putt. Tee boxes very shabby.

Varied and interesting course, but felt slightly short changed as when we played, was some significant maintenance work being undertaken on the greens meaning we had 7 temporaries (flags cut into the fairway) and the other 11 were heavily sanded, which led for some interesting detours when putting. If made aware of this at time of booking, may have considered elsewhere.

Having said all of this, would definitely consider course again when fully operational, as would like to see at its best as must be one of the best courses in the area.

The course is in very good condition considering the current climate . Some tee boxes could be better levelled . A pity the watering hole on the tenth tee was closed both times we played, hopefully when things get back to normal It will reopen . The seating on the club terrace is definitely in need of replacing especially after playing 18 and wanting to relax with drink otherwise a very challenging course in very pleasant surroundings and pleasant staff

Course layout was good. Fairways and greens are well maintained. Club staff super friendly. Will recommend to friends.

Interesting layout with a variety of hazards that does make you think. Course was in excellent condition and had a really enjoyable round! Would highly recommend.
