Pleasant & testing
It's nice to play a course where you don't just get the big stick out & go BOOM!
A course where you have to plot your way around, Although a few holes probably too many short par 4's. still a good test of your short game.
Nice course with good greens
Played here a few times now and it’s a nice course, in the summer the greens are always well maintained and daily fast. In the winter there are lots of temporary greens though.
I’d recommend this course to everyone but not at the full price as in my opinion it isn’t worth the £40-£50 full price tee times, instead keep an eye out for when it’s on the ‘hot deals’ list and it becomes good value for money
Great course layout
I really like this course particularly during the summer times. During inter sometimes it gets too wet. Course is challenging and fun to play. Even the short par 4s are fun. Would strongly reccomend .
Great day at Leatherhead
Very friendly staff and atmosphere, covid secure, course in stunning condition, very enjoyable day had by all.
Enjoyable course, tight fairways and good greens
Played this course for the first time. Some holes can be challenging when trying to find the fairway from the tee. There was 2-3 par 4s that were less than 300 yards which gave good eagle opportunities. The greens were in great conditions.
Really good condition
I've played a few times and was so pleased to see the course in such good condition. Has some really interesting holes and when the course is well kept it's well worth the green fee.
Fantastic course with very friendly staff!
Always love playing Leatherhead! The course was in superb condition which was to be expected after nice weather in recent weeks and some much needed rain recently.
The pro shop were pleasant and welcoming as is always the case.
Highly recommended by me and my playing partners
Challenging Course
A nicely layout course with some challenging holes. The greens and fairways are cut to a good standard.
AVOID!!!
Unplayable and will be for some time.
Sold us 18 holes, only 11 open and half of them on temporary greens.
Poorly maintained and liars.
AVOID
Course in pretty poor condition
Grrens need some tlc, the course doesn't drain well. The layout is challenging and fun. Good shots rewarded & bad shots punished. Even though not many on the course still took us too long to get round. V slow.
Enjoyable day of golf
Have played this course a couple of times this summer. Good staff, good atmosphere at the club, enjoyable course, nice glass of beer following the round. What else could you want?
Fairways
Most Surrey courses are in great condition but Leatherhead has very poor fairways
Hot summer daze
Good pace of play, slick greens and beers at the turn. Love playing this course when hitting fairways. The course bites back when you don't.
Too early in the season
The course was still suffering from prolonged wet weather and based on poorly drained clay soil - mostly mats not tees and the fairways had not yet been mown this year and the greens filed with sand and not cut for several days. Bunkers in good condition and after a flat first nine holes the second nine were more interesting and even if shorter were. Overall much work needed to bring course back to maybe what it might have been in the past
