Nice quick round for me

Very welcoming.

A quick round on my own as I had a couple of hours to kill. Pace of play was great and members let me through when I caught up. Very considerate members.

Nice veried course, green in good nic, fairways had some minor works going on to improve them but didn't get in the way of play.

I would happily recommend this course. 😊

greens were a joke

greens were covered in sand. The 1st and the 16th was over 1in deep. Looked like a manicured beach.4 of the greens were covered in mud and not playable. The rest of the green were spike. The holes were so large i could fit a felt tip pen in them.i completely understand they have to look after the greens. Last week they were like carpets. But if they were going to do such drastic work on them, they should close the coarse.

The greens were a joke.

No I know greens need tending to.and in all fairness the greens hear are fantastic.but if they are going to treat rhe greens to this extent why not close the coarse when they do it..aprox 6 of the greens has 2 in of sand in them.so it was like putting on a manicured beach..and 3 of the greens were completely unplayable..there was no warning on there website or in golf now saying that the greens would be like this...the coarse is normally fantastic..don't get me wrong I will definitely play here again..one of the best coarses in leeds..just wish they would have warned us.
