Leigh Golf Club
The course is a credit to Rob and the green keepers at Leigh Golf Club. The Course is as well prepared as many first class courses across England. I love playing this wonderful track and feel privileged to be able to play it.
Not a bad course indeed. Quite short in places with only one par five so longer hitter may find it easier. Well laid out and established in great condition however not too difficult and could get a bit easy if played often
Good feel course
Played for the first time and was impressed by the standard of greens, fairways. The booking in was smooth and easy and on time. The only downside is the proximity of tees and greens where some caution is needed. Overall would recommend.
Great course, great layout, played here before and the only issue today was the greens. They needed a roll and a cut but that is down to the time of year and having played previously later in the summer I know the course benefits later in the summer.
I would recommend this to anyone, it’s interesting and challenging
Great course and a must play if you have not already. A tad wet but to be expected with tecent weather
Thinking man`s course.
The condition of the course was excellent, greens were very good quite fast and true.
Not a long course but one where you have to try and position your tee shot to have a shot to the greens, you can be on the fairway but could end up being blocked out by trees.
Very flat course, quite easy on the legs.
Very nice club house with friendly staff and the few members that we saw.
Would highly recommend playing here.
Couldn't fault the course, staff or pace of play. Greens were good and true
It's unfortunate that a great course such as this is still open. I booked in good faith to play on full greens having checked the day before. However, whilst this was disappointing the course itself was soaked and we generally considered that the course wasn't fit for play. The joys of booking online!
I don't know what you expect in the middle of a wet winter! Nearly all inland courses in the Manchester area suffer from these problems. For Christmas golf you really need to go to the coast.
