Hart Common Golf Club - Main Course

The course was in great condition and very challenging at parts. The pace was often really slow with three groups stacked up on tees for the majority of the round. That’s said the course is in a lovely setting, well kept and maintained and the bar was friendly on the 19th hole.

Had a great time playing this course. Took a punt and booked this course. It didn’t disappoint. Course is in great condition and is really interesting and challenging, especially when the wind gets going. Super friendly staff and members too. We were held up on a few holes but nothing ridiculous. Will definitely be back

This course is value for money and kept in top condition. I’m surprised how cheap it is

This course is a true hidden gem. The condition of the course given the dry weather was first class. All greens were lush and green and as true as any I've played this year. The staff were great and even the pro shop was reasonably priced. The layout of the course is superb with lots of risk and reward shots and a need to plot your way around at times.

Can't recommend highly enough.

Unbeatable course in the area for price and condition. Puts a lot of private courses to shame for the condition and recent work they've done just makes it even better. 10/10

Course was a good challenge, lost a few balls, but I have a high handicap. Really helpfull staff. Fantastic value for money and I will be back to try the trackman range and really cheap par 3 academy course. Gents changing room is small and no lockers. No ladies changing room. Conveniently, the 9th green is back at the clubhouse. Give it a try

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this course again, my only gripe was that the greens had been sanded and were very slow and bobbly. Also the tees need a bit of tlc (see photos) we played Sunday morning 7:30 am for £22 so I can’t argue with that. Will definitely be back again this year.

Im not being negative on purpose. Quite simply im 60 and cant hit the ball as far as i used to. Maybe in heinsight we should have booked buggys. The last 2 holes are a killer! Clubhouse and bar were perfect, the staff were wonderful.

If i could hit the ball 240-260 yds I would have REALLY enjoyed it. All that said the greens were a little bit sandy and lumpy and not running 100% true. but for the money i shouldnt complain too much. £22 7:35 Friday morning🤷‍♂️💪💙

Really enjoyed this course, lots of interesting / challenging holes and the greens were very fast.

A couple of very minor points, all the ball cleaning stations were not serviceable and some small bins for broken tees would be an improvement.

Will definitely return.

First impressions are good , nice entrance and well kept. Hard to find pro shop but he was very helpful. Putting area was in a good spot close to first tee. Corse was well laid out and in places is going through some maintenance work and newly planted trees. It was wet condition but firm under foot, the greens are firm and fast , struggled to keep the ball on the greens on approach. Play was slow ( seniors four ball) but not a problem for us . This place will get better when all the work is finished and planting is established. Good value for the price and a decent pint in the clubhouse.
